We welcome uprising Canada-based artist Nipika to Summer Melody, and presents with the delicate Shoreline, we also have our label co-owner myni8hte and US-based producer TOMMY OH! on remix duties.

A relatively fresh newcomer discovered via Emergent Music, Nipika's melodic approach has been an eye-opener. When he debuts on Summer Melody, and with the track featured on Summer Melody 100, this shows how creative and wonderful his sounds could be. Shoreline delivers the sunset colour with an upbeat and atmospheric structure, as well as beautiful piano and synth melodies.

On the remixes, we first have our label co-owner myni8hte. Continuing the upbeat and atmospheric vibes, his remix remains the original elements and introduces a new main melody pairing with formerly foreground piano melodies, enhancing the original with more variety. The second remix is from TOMMY OH!, who has previously released under the T.O. alias, as well as having releases on labels such as Fuzzy Recordings, Macarize and Emergent Music. His approach is relatively simpler, bringing the vital essence from the original and reinterpreted with his own prog-trance-infused sounds.

We are glad to have another label debut of 2022, with Japanese producer RUNOS and his track Dandelion. This beautiful track also includes remixes from US-based producer Emro, and another label debutant/fellow Japanese Kita-Kei!

The light and sparkling original pairs with melodies that run across the whole track, which acts as the sky of flowing, white and feather-like seeds of dandelions. On the remixes, starting with the signature sounds of melodic and trance-infused progressive from Emro, the rolling arp and solid bassline enhances the original airy flow and as reflected with golden sunset yellow of the petals of dandelion. On the other hand, Kita-Kei delivers a more upbeat approach of the original, with a breakbeat influenced and atmospheric breakdown, the miraculous spring vibes and the light breeze.

Summer Melody welcomes back the talented Inon Bramy to the label, with the wonderful track Tears Of Angels. Alongside with the original, we have great remixes from 2bnsn, Skyhunter and myni8hte!

Inon Bramy's previous appearance on the label went back to last year's Summer Melodies compilation with Soul, and after that he has been releasing on Emergent and Soluna. After over a year, Inon returns to the label with Tears Of Angels. A melancholic track lead by the metallic melody, which later sparks a light of hope with a progressive arp and widen atmospherics. This track also includes his own style of vocal chops and solid bassline throughout the track.

The first remix is from Japan-based 2bnsn, who appeared on Summer Melodies Vol.6 back in 2021. After releasing several tracks and remixes over on Embers Melody, Synth Collective, and RockRiverRecords with the Daytrip mini album, 2bnsn continues his own blend of organic and melodic progressive. The remix fully delivers the blend, re-interpreted the original with mellower undertones and organic touches.

Skyhunter returns to the label after the releases of Your Smile EP and I'm Not One Of Them, deliver two different versions of the original. His Progressive remix puts the original back to his original roots of melodic progressive and his signature style, as this 8-minute journey progressively provides a brightful alternative to the original.

On the other hand, Skyhunter provides a downtempo approach to the original, with label co-owner myni8hte. With Skyhunter's progressive vibe, myni8hte joins in and transforms, delivering a more laidback balearic-like sensation on the remix. Added with more piano and strings, atmospheric tones and soothing vocal pads, this Downtempo remix provides a different melancholic feel, the sense of yearning for the good days in the past.
