This is my version of “Your Idol” from the movie KPop Demon Hunters. Unlike the original, which starts with a choir, I decided to skip that part and dive straight into Verse 1. I also made some melodic changes in the vocal line to bring a more personal and authorial touch, making it stand out from the usual covers out there.

This cover of KPDH was one of the most challenging I’ve ever done vocally. The original song is incredibly fast-paced, and the Korean lyrics are complex, so I had to slow the melody down a bit to keep up. It might sound a little unexpected on the first listen, but I think the result is unique!

I made a few changes to the lyrics. Please don't come after me for this! 😂 I wanted to make the track feel more like "me," just as I do with all my covers.  I like being different and original, and if I’m going to cover a song, I’d rather offer a fresh take.
