Sara Persico (1993, Naples) is an Italian sound artist, performer and video-maker. She channels her energy in the research of the voice and sound, diving into multiple instrument possibilities and radical improvisation practices through electronics. Her interest and research include a strong visual approach in her impulsive performances.Sara holds a BA from the Conservatory of Napoli and a Master's Degree from the Conservatory of Bologna. In November 2018 she has been selected for the Temp Studio multimedia residency in Lisbon (PT), where she presented her solo performance 7ST for voice, electronics and screening of videos. Among her collaborations, the performance GOLD directed by Francesca Grilli premiered at 40° sopra la Performance and Santarcangelo Festival in 2018. In 2019 the duowith Ignacio Córdoba debuted with a tour in Germany and Poland, while in May 2020 they released their first album for the Italian label Luminance Records. Her composition Superficie has been exhibited at Fondazione Sassi in Matera (IT). She released the album Ruh in October 2020 in collaboration with Melih Sarigöl for the label Base Materialism (Newcastle).Sara presented her work during several tours in Europe; she performed in venues and festivals such as Bologna Elettrica, Discomfort Dispatch, Geografie del Suono, Multiversal, Bologna Jazz Festival, Napoli Teatro Festival, Santarcangelo Festival, Damas Lisboa, MultiMadeira, Zaratan Arte Contemporanea, O Salgado Faz Anos Fest, Vorspiel, Radical DB, among others.

Luminance returns with a new various artist, following the labels’ debut ‘Uno’ and welcoming 8 new artists with contributions spanning between Ambient, Nocturnal Jazz, Krautrock and Dub Techno.
Opens up the release ‘Lately’ by Michele di Martino featuring Athena’s vocals where piano patterns and spoken words fluctuate through an always evolving drone, constantly building tension. The second tune, by Canadian Vito Lucente, is a melancholic liturgy where abrasive synths trace lines between hallucinated field recordings that seem to resonate from long forgotten times. The 3rd offering of the release is by Rome’s Marco uBIK Bonini which here collaborates with Marcello Allulli on the sax for a mysterious and haunting night walk through the dark woods of Twin Peaks. For the 4th tune owner Marco Catapano returns to the label with a rework of ‘Blessing’ by Jacopo Buda, previously released on the homonymous Album, and that now Marco turns into a more minimalistic and eerie piece where sax lines intersecate creating unexpected balances. Bologna’s Nizaar takes the lessons of concrete music pioneers and updates them with Floydian guitar sounds and psychedelic Fx's creating a fresh and perfectly crafted composition which will give joy to all the audiophiles out there. On a deeper route we welcome to the label Random Numbers’ owner BXP that contributes with a meditative and calm inducing dub techno piece through raw tape-filtered Roland 606 sounds, field recordings and ethereal pads. Last but not least, on closing duties Aspect Ratio with ‘Surfing The Point’ gives birth to a 10 minutes luminous ride between echoes of 70’s German Electronics and hints of shoegaze

On July 17, 1494, tradition has it that, in the locality of Balze di Verghereto in the Tosco-Romagnolo Apennines, Maria appeared on a stone to two Shepherdesses, one blind and the other deaf and dumb, restoring sight to the first and hearing to the second.
For over 500 years, every July 17th the village hosts a procession of religious and lay people despite the fact that the church of Rome has never recognized the miracle.

'Lumina Vesperis' is born from Marco Catapano's idea of merging audio and video art into a single medium, putting out at the same time the footage in a short film format and the sounds inside it as a music piece.
Therefore both the video and the audio become two indipendent living forms where the breath of one feeds the other and vice versa.'
