Bio:
Luminarty Petrelli was born in Cheverly, Maryland and was reared in Lagos, Nigeria. The name Luminarty derives from the term luminary, which means one who enlightens, influences or inspires others. This is what drives him as an artist and an individual.

In 2007, Luminarty's edgy style and lyrical precision was recognized locally in the DC, MD, and VA area. So much so, that MizFitz Soundz, an acclaimed production company who has worked with King Los, Emanny, Gunplay, T. Mills, and Courtney Noelle of Taylor Gang, could not pass on the opportunity to acquire such a versatile artist.

Luminarty was first spotted by producer FMajor, who has produced for well-known artists such as Joe Budden and Jim Jones, who pegged the new artist to be a sure acquisition made for success. He went on to put out a solo project, YOU SHOULD BE WATCHING VOL. 1, which undoubtedly expressed his wordplay prowess. He then collaborated with fellow team member and power house rapper, Laced, on the mixtape, ‘L.S.D.’ released in 2011.
 
‘Wake Up’ is a soon-to-be-released single off of his upcoming project titled, THE PETRELLI CAMPAIGN, which speaks on the necessity of staying awake and not allowing meager elements to divert your focus from the things that matter most. ‘Wake Up’ was chosen for the soundtrack of the Bleu Royalty's stage play, Broken Pieces, which debuted in Springdale, MD in April 2014.

Luminarty continues to level crowds across the East Coast with high-energy performances. From DC to VA and Philadelphia to New York City, one thing remainsconsistent; Luminarty is no gimmick drenched, flash-in-the-pan artist.
