Yeah these are my favorite Deltarune area theme and Deltarune song overall now respectively lol. If you know anything about the way I compose you probably could've guessed that. I did a lot of this from memory so this wasn't like intended to be two covers in one I just accidentally added elements of the latter while trying to create the former.

Chapter 4 feels exactly like Kingdom Hearts to me (down to the help from the beloved surprise guest character) which... those two games are something I always compared in my head, I just never thought it would get that direct lol... So I tried to arrange this kind of like a Yoko Shimomura song. I think it's kinda basic, but I feel like there's no way I could do this in an avant-garde or weird way... I just love it too much, lol.

RIBBIT (a Deltarune mod by BeholdMaxine) is one of my favorite pieces of media ever made, period. There are nigh-infinite things to praise about it, but one that's always stood out to me is its soundtrack, composed of mostly preexisting songs which come together to form a genuinely unmatched and completely unique experience. So, when @Saurdino420 handed me an abandoned work-in-progress FLP for the intro to a Megalovania cover based on Ribbit's soundtrack, I jumped at the opportunity to flesh it out and turn it into a full song.

This iteration of Megalovania heavily interpolates and bases itself around "What Does Your Soul Look Like, Pt. 2" by DJ Shadow and "solitariat" by Oliver Buckland, two iconic tracks used in Ribbit.

The Susie sprite in the thumbnail was made by Soup Taels.
