Once again here on 3000 Bass, we have an absolute show stopper of a project to explore with you all, as we welcome back Rhiannon Roze to oversee a tasty 8 track remix collection, inviting some of the brightest producers in the land to rework the super weighty ‘My Friend’.

We open with the bubbling bass tones of Duckworthsounds’ meaty overhaul, followed by both the emotive undertones of стил, and the mind-melting neuro over-vamps of MÆDM’s version in hot pursuit. Next up, Fantom Freq delivers a classic bass house rework, with the techy synth shifts of Eric Mark and low-ended bass drones of PHANTASM to follow.

We then close off the project with a final pair of peaches, with the high intensity bass bounces and spacious percussion of Little Tools giving the final rework a vibrant feel, before closing project out with the now-classic themes Rhiannon’s original, closing out this epic selection in style. There is certainly something for everyone in the remix package.

A Zuz was an ancient Jewish silver coin struck during the Bar Kochba revolt, as well as a Jewish name for the various types of non-Jewish small silver coinage, used before and after the period of the revolt. The name was used from the Greek era of drachmas, through the Roman era of Denarius, and then as the quarter denomination of Bar Kochba coinage. The Jewish insurrectionists' zuz were overstruck on Roman Imperial denarii or Roman provincial drachmas of Vespasian, Titus, Domitian, Trajan and Hadrian. Four Zuz, denarii or drachmas make a Shekel, a Sela or a Tetradrachm.

The yataghan is a type of Ottoman knife or short sabre used from the mid-16th to late 19th centuries. The yataghan was extensively used in Ottoman Turkey and in areas under immediate Ottoman influence, such as the Balkans and the Caucasus. The yataghan consists of a single-edged blade with a marked forward curve and a hilt formed of two grip plaques attached through the tang, the end of the hilt being shaped like large ears. The gap between the grips is covered by a metal strap, which is often decorated. The blade varies from 60 centimetres to 80 centimetres in length and is curved forward (like the Iberian falcata, or Greek kopis), sometimes reclining backwards again towards the very end. This blade form is often referred to as being 'recurved'. While the back of the blade is made of softer steel, the sharp edge is made of hard, tempered steel for durability. Jean Vayat enjoys a countryside drive in the twilight hour. This is his first offering for Shango Records. These three tracks will accept you for what you truly are. Trinity EP- explores musically three different ancient civilization and their ancient knowledge and invokes us to celebrate this life in harmony with nature and whole universe despite of all odds.
First Track "Bansuri„ is our interpretation of the ancient Asian civilization that believes – source of current universe and life form is sound. We have used lots of natural sounds from Himalayas and human heartbeat that is brought into life by a Bansuri melody – The sound of Prana. Our dear healer friend Ivano Onavi played the Bansuri melody for this track that goes very deep.
Second Track "Nakoda Moon" is our interpretation of spiritual ritual of ancient North American civilization during the Full moon. Ritual is about transformation of self and to be aware that life is a constant dance of beautiful melodious emotions and despair. Beautiful Guitar melody is played by our Turkish brother Ibo Turnam and emotional Violin by our beloved friend July.
The Track "Babel" is our interpretation of paradox of life that everything that comes into existence will come to an end. Babel was an ancient Babylonian civilization that was prosperous, intelligent and strong and yet came to an end whereas universe and life went on with its transformation and existence beyond that.
