[ΔKSHMUT010] Alev Lenz - Fall Into Me (Xaman Edit)

This old, melancholy ballad from Bulgaria’s southern Rhodope Mountains remains widely popular well into the21st century. Countless Bulgarian musicians, choral groups and soloists have their own unique recordings of Devojko Mari Hubava. On the internet, Google hits now total more than 10,000 – including haunting choral, acapella and musical presentations of all types, and occasional dances.
The ballad introduces a young couple in love who meet, perhaps for a last time, sensing that things are not going well. Over a drink they discuss which of them can tell the saddest story. The girl goes first; she’s come to realize that no dowry she could ever possibly assemble would be enough to bring acceptance from her boyfriend’s family. Then it’s the boy’s turn; he reveals that he has been drafted into the military – called to fight in a war he doesn’t want and from which he likely will never return.
Bulgarian listeners associate the saga to a time during the country’s 500-year occupation by the Ottoman Turks.
Sometimes Orthodox Christians living in the Rhodopes were presented with an ultimate choice – accept the Moslem religion or lose their lives. An iconic Bulgarian movie – “Time of Violence” – set in this time period portrays the heart-wrenching dilemma described in the ballad, with strains from Devojko Mari Hubava heard in the background -

For our next release we get visited from the far north of the two Hamburg friends Metatext & Karhua, who are well known for making dope music.

 

Their new creation is the Lungern EP, equipped with three original tracks and ready to take off. Beautiful remixes are coming from the usual suspects Deep Ändi & Deisen who are always up for fun. You can expect some dancefloor weapons on this release that will let the audience drift to higher grounds.

The use of digital and classic tools and instruments creates a dark downtempo composition combined with techno influences, which you can expect on this release.

Tight remixes are also included by Kapoor, Mula, Robin Schellenberg and Hesselberg who round up the EP with their individual touch. We are super happy with this slightly darker release and would like to thank the involved artists, as well as Kilian Van de Water for his amazing Artwork again.

Dear friends, we are delighted to present to you our very first 
compilation:
‘Mtsvane’ in Georgia language means Green, the color Green carries the 
vibration of growth, harmony, new beginnings, health, renewal, harmony, hope, peace, and environment.
 Exactly one year ago we started our new year with lots of positive 
intentions, unstoppable musical rituals, love, endless dances, and hugs.
At that time we couldn’t possibly imagine any of the outcomes we all are 
dealing with right now.
An idea we are about to share with you has always been there.
we have been circling around it, and 2020 made it all more clear it was 
time for action.
It was time to dedicate ourselves to something bigger than all of us, 
and we choose to do so with what we love.
With this movement, we’d like to spread the word into our community that we all are capable of doing more, with what we love.
We believe that the only way to say thanks to our Mother Earth, who 
suffers so much especially last period, who has provided us home for 
free, trees to lay under, sunshine above us, oceans to swim in, and the 
moon to guide us at night; is to leave something after us.
We will transfer all the revenue for global reforestation.
We have teamed up with  a non-profit organization,
                   ‘’One tree planted’’.
After collecting the revenue for the planting season,  everyone 
involved in this project will choose a region and every dollar will 
plant a tree.
( NORTH AMERICA, LATIN AMERICA, EUROPE, ASIA, AFRICA, THE PACIFIC. )
