As the visionary behind Art Bei Ton, a label, podcast, and event series, she’s been instrumental in shaping a more inclusive and experimental corner of the scene. With a taste rooted in hypnotic techno, ambient textures, and ritualistic rhythms, HBM’s sets are known for weaving loopy patterns, groovy basslines, and dreamlike atmospheres. From Tresor to VENT and beyond, she’s built a global reputation not just for her electrifying sets but for fostering spaces where FLINTA* and queer artists thrive. Through projects like Ambient Sleepers and events spanning New York to Seoul, she channels her DIY ethos into curating experiences that transcend music, offering cathartic moments for dancefloors worldwide.

Hypnotic Black Magic’s mix for Delayed seamlessly reflects her artistry. Over the course of an hour, she conjures a spellbinding atmosphere, opening with eerie female vocals and liquid basslines that ripple and shift like a mirage. The set takes on a nostalgic dimension, featuring some of her favorite tracks from the mid-2010s, proof that timelessness in techno isn’t about release dates but resonance. HBM delivers a technically flawless mix, creating a steady ascent that holds tension without ever feeling forced. Jane Fitz took the stage twice with a B2B set this at rural 2024, and she appeared on the final day with her musical partner Jade Seatle, who co-hosts the DIY party “Night Moves” in their home, London. The final day started out rainy, but ended up with sunny skies. This set was deeply connected with such a dramatic ending. Enjoy this euphoric collection of left-field tech house gems.

[PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB] is proud to present its 77th release. A soundtrack for a dystopia that no one ever wrote. K-Joshua (@dj-joshua) from Setúbal transmits into the ether Opposite Falls EP — nine audio fragments from a parallel chronicle. This is not just dub techno. This is a memory of a world where falling is a form of ascent. There are falls that lead you upward. There is sweetness that tastes bitter. There is music that doesn't echo in the ears, but in the spaces between thoughts. All of this — Opposite Falls EP by K-Joshua — is a new coil in the paradoxical spiral of [PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB].

Here, sound flows like water against the current. It climbs the slopes of the mind, skimming the familiar, revealing the impossible. Five original narratives:

:::Bitter Fall — not sorrow, but clarity at the edge of collapse.
:::Sweet Fall — not joy, but release, gentle as ashes over a desert.
:::Deep Uncertainty — the heart of the EP, the breath of a universe undecided in its own becoming.
:::Deep Uncertainty (Final Apocalyptic Reprise) — not an ending, but a mirror where the sky reflects after the final exhale.
:::Absolute Certainty — a trap of the mind. Where there is a point, there is no movement. And without movement — no life.

Hidden in the sleeves of this record are four alchemists:

:::Oldschool_Dubtechno .Producer Version (@enercube & @x_fr) returns to the roots — where roots are wires buried in the soil of sub-bass and chords as energy.
:::Protyv (@protyv) splits the “Fall” into two beams of light: one cuts through concrete, the other dances on the surface of rain.
:::Jonah van der Hout (@jonahvanderhout) brings us "Absolute Uncertainty" — like a code left behind by a civilization that no longer exists.

Opposite Falls EP by K-Joshua is a space built from sound — like the seaside streets of Setúbal, in the half-shade of old facades and salty winds. Each track invites you into a room with its own acoustics. In one — the whisper of water rushing upward. In another — concrete vibrating with the rhythm of ancient techno archaeology. And somewhere in between — silence where absolute uncertainty hides. This release doesn't seek logic. It lives in between. Between architecture and nature. Between sweetness and bitterness. Between falling and returning to the self. Opposite Falls EP is not music you listen to. It is music that listens to You. And, perhaps — for a moment — understands.

Luis Couñago Luque, so der bürgerliche Name von MoM, griff zu den Kopfhörern und hörte sich die Nummer an: „Ich war total vom Sound der Flöten begeistert.“ Also nahm er sich der Nummer an, um einen Remix nach seinen Vorstellungen zu basteln. „Ich sprach mit meinem Freund ANuT (@soul-36), und wir begannen, mit dem Track herumzuhantieren." One year ago, I listened to a song from michaonfire and Sonia called Njoum (Stars) and instantly liked their vibe https://soundcloud.com/user-769640726-833291896/micha-sonia-njoum-demo.
I asked Micha if I could do some sort of remix/interpretation and he luckily sent me the stems of their recordings. I had a lot of stuff to do the last summer, so it took me quite a while to start this remix and get it done. Hope you like it :)
