Hypnotic Black Magic, based between Berlin and Lisbon, has become a defining figure in the deep techno circuit. As the visionary behind Art Bei Ton, a label, podcast, and event series, she’s been instrumental in shaping a more inclusive and experimental corner of the scene. With a taste rooted in hypnotic techno, ambient textures, and ritualistic rhythms, HBM’s sets are known for weaving loopy patterns, groovy basslines, and dreamlike atmospheres. From Tresor to VENT and beyond, she’s built a global reputation not just for her electrifying sets but for fostering spaces where FLINTA* and queer artists thrive. Through projects like Ambient Sleepers and events spanning New York to Seoul, she channels her DIY ethos into curating experiences that transcend music, offering cathartic moments for dancefloors worldwide.

Hypnotic Black Magic’s mix for Delayed seamlessly reflects her artistry. Over the course of an hour, she conjures a spellbinding atmosphere, opening with eerie female vocals and liquid basslines that ripple and shift like a mirage. The set takes on a nostalgic dimension, featuring some of her favorite tracks from the mid-2010s, proof that timelessness in techno isn’t about release dates but resonance. HBM delivers a technically flawless mix, creating a steady ascent that holds tension without ever feeling forced. This is hypnotic techno at its finest: immersive without excess, subtle yet captivating (I know, I know, this adjective is way overused nowadays, but it fits perfectly to describe this mix). Delayed with... Hypnotic Black Magic

Jane Fitz took the stage twice with a B2B set this at rural 2024, and she appeared on the final day with her musical partner Jade Seatle, who co-hosts the DIY party “Night Moves” in their home, London. The final day started out rainy, but ended up with sunny skies. This set was deeply connected with such a dramatic ending. Enjoy this euphoric collection of left-field tech house gems.

The exotic ‘Sombra India’ gets to works with slick guitar licks and a driving beat, enhanced with powerful and captivating vocals from Eduardo Castillo. Already a firm favourite of Damain Lazarus and Luciano, this has been getting a huge response on dance floors this summer. On the flip and the cut-up Afro-house ‘Sanura’ is highly exotic driving monster of a tune, no messing around, straight to the dance floor!

Eduardo Castillo’s music encompasses his depth in the study of the industry and influences stemming from a South American and European upbringing.  His studies in music composition, orchestration and opera provide him with a vast understanding of harmonies, dynamics and musical textures.  Eduardo uses a subtle ethnomusicologist’s approach to music.  His record collection reads like a music history book.  In fact his eclecticism is quite enticing.  Sounds of Jazz, Avant –Garde, Middle Eastern, South American, Afro-Cuban folk, Soul, Funk, and electronic minimalism, can be heard in his compositions, his singing, his dj sets, and his playing of instruments, whether in their pure form or intertwined with down, mid and up-tempo electronic treatments.  
Ultimately, simplicity is what Eduardo strives for.  An effort is always made to have a fresh organic sound while inevitably providing touches of technological advances shaping music today, never overwhelming and always sophisticated and tasteful.

Eduardo's mission is to always become a storyteller from beginning to end. Every record he plays has a very important intention. The music in his selections does not just fill time, it weaves in and out with dynamic and texture. The music, and his improvisational live remixing, are brush strokes on a canvas that once he's reached the end, will look like a world of realism and fantasy all in one. He's a master at layering the musical with the technical and the surreal with the real.
Eduardo always leaves an indelible mark with his style and impeccable understanding of his environment.

Eduardo Castillo has several releases on the groundbreaking Crosstown Rebels label, Sol Selectas, Half Seas Over.   He is the founder of the infamous HABITAS, GRAND PARK SUNDAY SESSIONS, VOODOO, AND PATTERN BAR from Los Angeles.  He is as passionate about creating magical experiences as he is about leading listeners in a beautifully crafted sonic journey.

Álvaro Suárez - On The Limits Of Perception (original Mix)

What happens when producers face the challenge of reimagining the tracks of other producers? Remixes EP is not something new. Nonetheless, we've been thinking about how interesting it would be to offer this thought-provoking such thing on our catalogue. Then for our newest release, the experimental-sounds-rock-climber-avid-traveler-outdoor-enthusiast Nathan Hall(@nathanhall-1) has hand picked three heavenly producers to remix tracks from his debut EP: Squamish. It still remains as a small escape from thoughts, a heavily effected one-off adventure. This time around, however, under heady doses of mind-blowing "re-configurations".

The collection features three unique reworkings. EP's first track “DuaDua“, reworded by Discoshaman (@discoshaman), struts a playful spirit that rules an interesting mood .The “Viento del Bosque” remix on the EP was done masterfully by Stephen Kirchhoff (@steffenkirchhoff) who creates a mystery-inside-you atmosphere revision, everything in its right place. For gentle night listening, “Night Wind” is remixed by Temple(@tmplsound), we can see slowness insights around every corner. The whole package will draw attention to unadvised listeners and, also, it is constructed like a outlook that weaves and unweaves the captive listener's ears.

Their very own interpretation of the Pachamama sound is filled with mesmerising atmospheres and dramatic changes of mood in an amusing game of forms that bounce off each other, almost like they are acting according to their own rules. 

Both Rezza and Jaipur feature earthy rhythms, hypnotising build ups, rolling melodies, spiritual vocals, relentless percussion and seductive delays, which come together as one immersive whole, painted in vivid colours that will slowly seep into your mind for days. Enjoy!

The journey of Heimlich Musik continues with their third compilation that sums up the current state of art in downtempo music. By featuring a great mixture of up and coming and more established artists in the first two compilations, the third compilation follows this concept. 
Musically speaking, the third compilation comes as a vivid trip from oriental treats, as for example "Mumu“ by the Austrian "Wille zum Wahnsinn" to melancholic slow house, as served by "Youlaike" from Cologne. With a slowed down Indie-Disco tune Patrick Alavi continues the musical trip. Istanbul’s "Islandman" delivers a percussion-driven tool to complete the wide musical range of this collection. The third compilation by Heimlich Musik proves that downbeat music doesn't know any genre-boundaries.

We're glad to share with you a revolutionary collab between 2 unique and leading musicians in the live electronic scene. The connection between @nadavdagon and @jpattersson was instant and precise.
The virtuoso trumpet, the fragrances of the dub and Johann's Balkan twist together with the addictive, tribal & ceremonial rhythm of Nadav, gave birth to 'The landing'. In different times this creation would be played on every downtempo gathering on the globe. This splendid collab contains a deep and profound beat, mind-blowing melodies, and lots of joy. This sound got picked up by the dutch vagabond @krautmusica and the south africa based producer @leeu88 put in two various thrilling and powerful remixes. This global collaboration between 4 different continents.
