This is a broken vocal track about differentiation through contemplation, focus and context. The bass plays the backbeat while the snare goes for half the time. There is a simple but variated synth lick, some bizarrely set percussions and backing (vocal) clouds. The track starts quite loose and becomes the longer the straighter.

Els Vandeweyer (vibraphone) strolls over a warm satin carpet. Straight backbeat.

Dr Schwamm

Kind of a dub piece. Some granulated snare clouds, a halftime tabla, a remote flute, bass. And a strongly distorted synth line. The sidechain hierarchy digs some holes.

At the market :: An organ, a barker, a cock and Els Vandeweyer on prepared vibraphone. The beat hops through while the clap goes slow. A clanking cut-up track. Single #3 from Isles of You.

A distorted latin bass line takes the lead through a harvest festival ambience. Slow and deep beat. Straight.

Nilien

Hard electronics meet soft acoustics. Harpoid sounds lead through the piece.

Splix

Trippy flats, tribal drums, vocals in high spirits. Els Vandeweyer played the vibraphone with her prepared gloves.

Master Realist

Deep flats and organs are woven around each other. Samples from a skipping CD build the upper texture, hits and a dry guitar support the beat, in the end there is a lost saxophone.

Missoi

The minimal track builds up very slowly. There is loads of space between the phrases, the tuba is underlaid with a really deep sub bass, the 4to4 bass drum enters really late.
