More than 15 years have passed since long time friends and partners in crime Marco Resmann and Norman Weber joined forces under the conjunctional moniker that is Luna City Express – a project which put high quality House music from Germany on the international circuit from day dot and is held in highest regards by electronic music connaisseurs all over the globe. Now, and for the first time ever, the Luna City Express comes to a halt at the Upon.You Records headoffices to deliver a contribution to the labels catalogue – the „Neon Frame".

Opening with „Gimme Some More" Luna City Express weigh in a distinct, raw and dry House groove paired with ever morphing synth movements as well as a subtle nod to the ecstatic everything goes attitude of the AcidHouse era whilst putting a smile to every oldskool ravers face with their take on well beloved sample madness.

The title track „Neon Frame" sees the duo on a pumping, yet well sexy and driving House tip led by beautifully floating piano tones, expertly cut-up vocal samples and ethereal, playful micro-melodies paving the way for ever spiralling and carefully intertwined layers which induce a timeless state of dancefloor hypnosis and serve a perfect blueprint for the future sound of the ever evolving Luna City Express project.

Finally Upon.You Records creative mastermind Marco Resmann presents a solo remix take on „Neon Frame" with his 'Marco Resmann Dub Mix' re-lick which strips the original tune down to its bare essentials, puts in remarkably detailed, sci-fi leaning filter works and presents a hypnotic, time dissolving and Wildpitch-informed TechHouse meets DubTechno fusion for endless late night sets that is about to become an instant classic for a reason.

14th December 2018 sees revered German house duo Luna City Express deliver their debut ‘Holzmarkt’ EP on Mar-T’s established WOW! Recordings. 

For over a decade Norman Weber and Marco Resmann AKA Luca City Express have been living out their love for house music behind the turntables and in the studio. The talented duo have risen to become a respected name on the international underground house music scene through their dynamic DJ sets and releases on labels such as Moon Harbour, Get Physical, Lapsus Music, Rockets & Ponies, Justified Cause and Enliven Music.

Now, the time has come for the Berlin-based duo to provide their debut offering on WOW! Recordings which comes in the form of 3 original tracks entitled ‘Feel Me’, ‘Midnight Dream’ and ‘Monday at Holzmarkt’ plus a stellar dark and techy remix of ‘Feel Me’ from the illustrious Timo Maas. All 4 tracks complement each other perfectly and take the listener on a captivating ride of alluring house grooves, manipulated vocal samples, filtered synth melodies and powerful basslines.

'Berlin's finest duo Luna City Express are close to celebrating their 20th anniversary in the music scene in 2020, and we are extremely happy to welcome them on Lapsus Music for their last EP before the celebrations. We had the pleasure to have them on board earlier in 2019 with a track featuring house vocal master Roland Clark. Shortly after, the duo, alongside Robert Owens came out with a great 5 tracker EP on Exploited Ghetto. Norman Weber & Marco Resmann are now back on the label with a solid and engaging deep tech track showcasing their passion for evolving synth patches and raw house beats. On the remix duty, we called on board the Italian fast-rising duo, Brokenears that have retouched the track in perfect style with their unmistakable house groove and rolling disco bass. We definitely see this EP crashing the dance floors of every dark and smokey underground rooms all over the world. '
