PVNV, AWB & Shlomo form the promising young label Taapion Records made in France since 2013. Their spirit? The deep techno (techno and electronica mix). Solo or under their crew, the three French have already had occasion to arouse the curiosity of the public as much as the professional world.
It is therefore in the perfect tradition of his elders (Re-Construct Form held by Zadig, or Dement3d) by producing a fairly dark techno and cut for clubs. We already understood the case with The Harvest Paths EP Shlomo, first output of the label and true cardboard. And to drive the point home, the Parisian structure has now secured the services of Antigone, who officiated on Construct Re-Form, and Romain Poncet, famous for his EP on Figure Len Faki label. Moreover, some various EP has been released with tracks from them and Birth of Frequency, Francois X, Roman Poncet, Francois X... A ramp-up to follow very closely!

Carrying well over seventeen years of love for techno and performing experience with him, Invite is one of Holland’s few true household names. A modest perfectionist at heart, he translates his passion and drive into outspoken and highly versatile DJ-sets. Whether it’s opening deep and warm,closing rough and edgy, a small crowd or large setting Invite treats every gig with the same amount of diligence and respect.

When given carte blanche and an extended timeslot, something he much prefers, Invite is able to move a crowd like few others can.
His career has seen him perform at numerous events including Planet Rose, Imprint, Solid Grooves and Awakenings, festivals such as Awakefest, Free Your Mind and venues like Trouw, Paradiso and Doornroosje, on multiple occasions alongside the likes of Surgeon, Dave Clarke, Ben Sims and Jeff Mills. Invite’s reach doesn’t stop at the border however; he has played in Germany, Croatia, Slovenia, Scotland, Czech Republic, Austria, Estonia, France and Belgium and is looking forward to a lot more traveling.

Early 2011 has also marked the launch of his own podcast series, dubbed Invite’s Choice. Aiming to provide international techno artists with a sixty-minute platform to think 100% out of the box and record a set without any musical limitations, it’s quickly become one of the best weekly podcasts out there.

He's inspired by a crude and mental techno - drawing its sources in big marathon clubbing in Paris, Berlin or even at home in Nantes - and many hours spent digging in European record shops. Berlin based Amotik released his EP debut in the summer of 2015, and since then, the unknown producer’s had a remarkable run. His debut vinyl EP and the following four releases (on his self-titled label) have made it into the Groove charts.  His style is best described as hypnotic/dreamy techno with an uncompromisingly raw undertone. His tracks are heavy, coarse-grained and sometimes atmospheric. In 2016, he also released on Tommy Four Seven’s imprint ’47’ and groove Magazine has named him as one of their Hoffnungsträger (hopefuls) for 2017 in a recent feature.

Spanish-born, Berlin-based Alienata is a self-described sound obsessive whose sets span obscure electro, ACID, dub, IDM, dark disco, jackbeat, cosmic jazz, break beats and crazy sounds in general. While primarily focusing on DJing, Alienata has released a few records with her project Kat Channel with Snuffo of the jacking house Snuff Crew. She also launched a new record label called Discos Atónicos where she can materialize all its varied influences.

Podacst of the month is hosted by the lovely Zanias. Born in Australia, raised in South-East Asia and now resides in Berlin, she was once known as the voice of the bands Linea Aspera and Keluar, and now performs and DJs as a solo artist.
Her debut EP ‘To the Core’ was produced in collaboration with Alex Akers of the band Forces. Tying together industrial rhythms and unearthly vocals, the four tracks explore an intrinsically human journey through loss and upheaval.
She is also a member of Berlin's Fleisch collective, an amalgam of DJs with primary careers as musicians and designers, and a taste for electronic body music, new beat, industrial, acid, and the darker, wavier fringes of techno. In 2016 their parties gave way to the founding of a record label, which made its debut with Schwefelgelb's body music masterpiece 'Wie Die Finger Durch Den Nebel'

His aesthetic can vary from Techno, to deep, industrial and acid, blending over-produced and classic analog textures. This recording was the opening set during π30 party alongside Samuel Kerridge and ANFS at Temple, Athens.

With a thirst for adventurous selections oscillating between dystopian aesthetics and moments of sheer beauty, REKA has cultivated her very own personal approach to heady machine music. Featuring everything from contemporary techno to the genre's prototypical past of electro, her set is a highly sensitive affair; maneuvering seamlessly through dance music's many permutations with the same manual control and balance that goes into riding her motorcycle through the streets of Berlin.

Merely one year into her DJ career, REKA was discovered by DJ Hell and joined International Deejay Gigolos as part of the female duo leChic, releasing the critically acclaimed CD-mix “leMix”. Few years later, REKA was selected to participate in Toronto's edition of Red Bull Music Academy and eventually felt the desire to start her solo path, considerably darker and more experimental realms. After relocating to Berlin, she soon became a resident at the legendary club TRESOR. Her DJ set showcases a broad range of influences from Synth, Dark Wave, Electro to EBM, Newbeat & IDM to different shades of Techno, than enables her to be a strong, versatile DJ to perform under any time, stage and context.

Moody at Astropolis Festival 2018

Kondaktor has been crafting the decks for almost a decade establishing himself as a prominent figure in the Athenian party scene. His dj sets vary: from deeply techno to sleazy, dirty and funky; from comfortably dark and ambient to uncomfortably sensual and grimmy. He enjoys mixing different styles and trying different sounds each time: from industrial techno to chicago house and back. In the record label that he co-owns, "Modal Analysis", the releases are a blend of modern techno with experimental approach in order to promote the new sophisticated sound coming from Greece. The label's gloomy aesthetic examines the structural impact of sound within space. In the end of 2012 he made his debut release as a music producer with a cassette at the Seattle based Further Records under the alias of Kondaktor: the maestro that controls the musician's performance and manipulates the feelings of the crowds. Kondaktor's distorted approach enhance a mix of experimental tonalities that resemble those coming from a concrete mysterious setting, with electroacoustic influences, build in a low-fi aesthetic. His debut album "Afrikanochetos" on the French label 'Abstract Reality' came out in 2017, demonstrating his very unique sound.

He is an electronic music producer and DJ based in Athens. Involved in various projects since an early age, he discovered an interest in electronic music, weird electronics and obscure sounds while studying sound design. In 2012, alongside fellow friends Kondaktor and 3.14, he co-founded the record label “Modal Analysis”, and later on 2015 he launched his own personal imprint ‘Vanila'. Both platforms work as a self-referential point as well as an archive that documents the current electronic scene of Greece.

Blac Kolor is a music project by long time DJ, promoter and graphic designer Hendrick Grothe from Leipzig. Coming from the wild eastern electronic body music scene in Germany in the early 90s, he continuously developed & pushed the boundaries in an open-minded way that many partygoers seemed not prepared for. His techno influenced DJ sets persuaded every hesitant crowd for several years now. On the producer’s side he consequently figured there is some space to be filled with a new musical narrative: banging rhythms for a dark world of windowless basements - the typical BK sound. In 2018 he then switched to german industrial label legend HANDS for his 3rd full length album called "Awakening“, where he even collaborated with Front 242’s. In summer 2018 he unleashed his last physical record (called
"Sacred“) on splendid Aufnahme+Wiedergabe, soon to be followed by new material in 2019.
