As we approach the end of the year I wanted to shine a light on one London artist who has already done so much for the scene and it’s community. Please welcome, Theo Komp.

Real name, Theofanis Kosmopoulos has been a leading figure in the London’s Underground scene for almost a Decade now. With his Minimal force party’s allowing artist's based on their talent and not the hype.
A chance to perform, release and be apart of their fantastic community. Theo is someone I would consider myself as a purist and a true lover of the music and it’s scene.

He also manages a pretty impressive career for himself doing what he loves and still does to this day. Whether that be Teaching music production or playing Gigs himself he makes it very clear that that music is his only passion.

On tonight’s episode I find out about Theo’s introduction to Electronic music. What made him consider teaching. And what the real drive is behind his own weekly minimal force showcases.

"To object" bedeutet im Englischen so viel wie "etwas in Frage stellen" oder "herausfordern". Und damit ist auch treffend gesagt, wie diese zweiköpfige Techno-Dampfwalze mit unseren Hörgewohnheiten verfährt. Wer ihre DJ- oder Live-Performances, ihre Produktionen oder die Veröffentlichungen ihres Labels @Distorted_Perception kennt, wird vermutlich zustimmen, dass sie sowohl Erwartungen als auch Grenzen sprengen, wenn sie zwischen Abstraktion und Emotion, zwischen Düsternis und Ekstase oszillieren.
Der Podcast, den sie für uns aufgenommen haben, zeigt ihre Besessenheit von kleinsten Details ebenso wie ihre kompromisslose Vision komplexen minimalistischen Technos.

"Objection [noun]: the action of challenging […] something" is an adequate definition of what to expect from this two headed techno juggernaut. Anyone familiar with their live or DJ performances, their productions or the music released by their label @Distorted_Perception will probably agree that they challenge both expectations and boundaries, when oscillating between abstraction und emotion, gloom and ecstasy.
The podcast they delivered showcases both their scrupulous eye for detail and their uncompromising vision of complex yet minimalistic techno.
