this is the second track off my debut album, rare novels. the song takes on a personal meaning and continues where quiet fire left off. it was inspired by a trip i took to italy many years ago. on it i was feeling all shades of melancholy. i felt like i was in paradise and wanted to stay, but i was only enveloped by dread. thinking i'd have to leave this place to go back to limbo.

Second track. This ones my favorite! I wrote this one with the story behind where I'm currently living. I think deep down I feel serenity here. I'm close to the sea and also to animals and open fields in the countryside.
