EX-TC is an introduction to a new side of Nuage. The lead single off the upcoming ‘Mind Control Pt. 1’ EP showcases a more upbeat sound, diverging from his typical chillout dance style. Of this alternate style, Nuage explains, “It's my goal to create music for the dancefloor of a dream, a place we all feel safe and happy – that’s the meaning of the ‘Mind Control’ series.” EX-TC uses a looped vocal sample, dub chords, and an electro beat to create a hypnotic feeling – letting go of consciousness.
