Lunar @ Earth Frequency Festival 2021 | Vertex Stage | Higher Recordings Showcase

With a huge smile still on my face from this moment, I am happy to share with you all, my set from Wilf Horses Festival, Dec 2022.

From beginning the journey by hosting the opening ceremony with the Djaara People from the Dja Dja Wurrung Mob to playing a Saturday night sunset slot, my heart was left overflowing.

This set was a tribute to my late aunt and man did I feel her energy dancing around us. The crowd on the dancefloor felt so raw and tribal, I had the best time playing this, felt just like medicine.

This set progresses from driving progressive into full-on psytrance as I was playing the sunset slot and chose every track to suit the positioning of the sun and moon. I hope you enjoy it x

I'd like to thank the entire crew at Wild Horses Festival for devoting so much time and energy to making this gathering everything that it is. The authentic, raw, and organic doof essence that exists on this land and within this community is exactly why I've spent the past 8 years of my life doing this.

Winning the main stage competition for Yemaya Festival I was given the opportunity to play on the Saturday between 7-8:30am on the main stage at one of my favourite festivals - t'was a really special moment for me!
I have never been so excited and nervous all at the same time - definitely a moment I will never forget.

This set was inspired upon reflecting over the past 6 months of this amazing musical journey I've been on, gracing some stages that I only ever dreamt of playing on including Rainbow Serpent Festival, Earth Frequency Festival, Babylon Festival, Esoteric Festival & The Town.

It's been a ride, exploring the sounds of Chill, Glitch, Progressive and Full On, I've challenged myself, stepped out of my comfort zone, grown and learned so much more than I ever anticipated. Throughout this time of exploration I've understood myself more musically and been able to feel into what I want to create as a producer so I'm grateful for the diverse opportunities I've been presented with.

The next part of my musical journey has begun. Journey with me as I delve deep into the world of production, The Time Is Now :)

I still pinch myself when I think about the fact that I played on the one and only Sunset Stage at Rainbow Serpent Festival 2019.
This live set captures sounds from the best day of my life; the day one of my dreams became my reality♡ 
This set represents the Journey of Lunar; a progressive, melodical transition to full power energetic psychedelic frequencies; everything that grows progresses and transitions. Life on the musical magic carpet definitely feels unreal at moments but the journey carries essence and strength, perseverance and a beautiful sense of accomplishment.

Esoteric Festival is a festival I have a lot of value for, for it's not only one of my favourite dancefloors in Aus but because of my involvement as the Ceremony Producer. The intro and outro in this set feature the prayers that I produced for the 2020 Opening & Closing Ceremonies representing the theme Deep Blue Sea.
The prayers set the tone of my set as I felt many layers of my old self shed whilst new vibrations and energetic waves came rushing through my body. The dance floor for this one was ELECTRIC!

Lunar Exclusive Mix || Quant'om Productions 2020

Ebony Keegan, Melbourne DJ and Producer by the name Lunar inherited a love for music from a young age and has spent most of her live mainly playing piano but also experimenting with a range of other instruments as well as song writing.

Her discovery of psychedelic trance unraveled a strong desire for her to learn how to produce and DJ electronic music which very soon after was transformed into the birth of Lunar, (a DJ, producer and radio host) establishing herself as an edition to the psytrance scene placing her on some of Australia’s best stages including Rainbow Serpent, Esoteric, Earth Frequency, Elements and Babylon festival’s to name a few.

Her diversity in sound and eclectic taste in track selection has found her sets to be anything from downtempo psychedelic glitch-hop to more grooving, melodic day time progressive sounds and during the night creating an circus on the dance floor with her energetic full on psytrance sets. Many refer to her as “the little lady with big sound”, a musical story teller and heart connecter.

This incredible five year journey sees only the beginning of Lunar’s vision to create and connect through music so you can expect a lot more moonlight and memorable moments to come on the dance floor!
