The snowfalls of recent days has melted under the new moon and we are finally ready to turn another page in The Memoir.

This time we're greeted by the blissful beats of @tokifuko who's sounds and work with his outboard gear has been inspiring us lately. His music can be described as "mechanical signals structured into a hypnotic substance".

"I always liked tactile music writing and I've always wanted to control the electric wave by using drum machines locking them into a chain. It was hard for me to get results with the use of virtual instruments which led to the purchase of my first synthesizer. As a result, it has become an experiment in search for new forms and a race for the best sound in order to achieve better results."

Recently this talented producer released a wonderful EP on @silent-season which is well worth checking out.

During Voltage Festival 2019 (Rotor Stage, Saturday) they decided to join forces in a 3hrs eclectic b2b. Here's a one hour excerpt from it.

In our humble opinion Voltage Festival could be considered as one of Belgium’s best festivals… 
We visit this festival every year, but this edition was really at another level!

As a visitor you can feel this project has a bright future…
The people behind this energising project should be respected as they bring pure quality back to our festival landscape.

From 2007, performed in many festivals, club residencies in various places and through variety of mixes, S-Pill constantly showed us his own definition of correlations between Deep, Minimal, House and Techno - that is still moving foward from the past.

2007년 부터 많은 페스티벌과 레지던트 생활 그리고 다양한 믹스셋 발매등, 자연스럽게 묻어나오는 S-Pill (SJP0) 만의 음악적 색은 딥, 미니멀, 하우스, 테크노에서의 공통분모를 찾아 자신만의 방법으로 재정립하는것에 의의를 두고 있으며 그것들은 과거에서 부터 계속 진행되고 있다.

공간에 맞는 음악만 하는 것보다는 더 넓은 시점에서 바라보았을 때 많은 이들과 음악적 공감이 먼저 이루어진다면, 자연스럽게 좋은 공간은 만들어집니다.
이번 Oslated 의 Set 은 저의 최근의 삶에서 영감을 주는 모든 것들을 음악으로 전달하고파 단순함이 아닌, 다양함을 표현하였습니다.
