i guess i should put a trigger warning here.
i know art/music is meant to be interpreted by the viewer/listener, but i made this with very specific emotions in mind. i'm struggling heavy with my body/physical appearance and have been for years. i think i've captured the sad emotions but also the almost 'romanticization' of my struggles. before you come for me, you don't know anything unless you have struggled yourself.

Winter

On ‘Dreamer’ Maroki teams up with his studio neighbour across the water, Hypnøs. As canal-side neighbours in Amsterdam, the pair have nurtured a kindred spirit of melodious rave music which celebrates all the best parts of the past 30 years of dance music. Those influences come through in abundance here, from throbbing 303s to the urgent techno propulsion of the drums, all cast in the moody melancholy of the pads which give the track its entrancing vibe.
