Brazilian-based house music label Lunatic Jazz has prepared this boldly eclectic collection of five great tunes coming from the label's beloved artists. After the well-received compilation Our House, released at the end of last year seized upon the chance to bring even more new, intelligent sounds to its groovy catalog. Lunatic Jazz contacted some of its favorite artists and asked a very simple question: what´s the craziest sound you´ve made lately? With styles ranging from downtempo to tech-house, indie-dance to psychedelic house, the aptly titled Let´s Have a Ball Together is the answer.

Colors Sound System, the DJ/producer duo from Sao Paulo, Brazil, has been building a solid reputation as off-kilter house music composers. In addition to Lunatic Jazz their music has been released through Candy Music, Blunted Funk, and Conya Records with support from the likes of Quentin Harris, Groove Armada's Andy Cato, and Mark Farina. Colors Sound System's percussive and psychedelic "MDMA" opens this collection and should inspire many frenzied late night hoedowns.

Manuel Sahagun is a beloved house music talent from Buenos Aires, Argentina with a respected discography through labels like Kolour, Flavour and his own Candy Music. Manuel contributes "Trip To Guayaquil," a smooth and groovy breakbeat track that lowers the tempo while increasing the vibe.

In 2010, DJ Ino released one of Lunatic Jazz's favorite albums Kids On Boogie (House Cafe Music Records). As the Spanish producer finishes his first EP for Lunatic Jazz this compilation delivers a taster in the form of the sleek, dark tech-house builder "Le Ciel."

From Winnipeg, Canada comes Purespace Recordings artist Joe Silva. Here he tries a different tact with the smooth, downtempo cut "I Don´t Remember" which features some beautifully haunting female vocals. After the huge success of his two past EP´s on Lunatic Jazz, this producer continuers to show his passion for groovy electronic soul music.

Filoops releases for the first time on Lunatic Jazz and it´s a great debut. "Crazy Indian Bike Rider" is a nasty, tripped-out, and funky track that's perfectly at home on the label. It´s a tasty bit of what´s coming soon from the Belo Horizonte-based Filoops, an agenda that includes some future contributions to Lunatic Jazz.

Lunatic Jazz Records just celebrated three years and 23 releases from carefully selected, prestigious music-makers such as Funky Transport, Prztz, Asad Rizvi, Anhanguera, Joe Silva, Sound Diggers and Gabriel Black, all of whom have played their part in the São Paulo label’s rise.

This EP joins music feelings from opposite sides of the planet.  Joe Silva, one of Lunatic Jazz favourites (his first EP on the label, “That Sound”, is one of our greatest hits) comes from Winnipeg, Canada. Jota Wagner, the brain behind the label drop his beats from warm and rainny São Paulo (Brazil). The colaboration between these two artists brings to the world Thermal Shock EP, a split release with the best ideas of  both funky and deep.

Joe Silva (Red Melon / Neves Music / Nordic Tracks) delivers the first track, That Banza, a mad funky tune for latenite action. Another great produced piece from Joe to his high quality discography.

Jota Wagner (EIGHT-Tracks, Conya, Head Tunes, Lunatic Jazz) take it to the deep area mixing oldschool deep house elementst with modern beats and their usual weird ideas on music.

Lunatic Jazz has recently visited Oslo in Norway and found much more than hardingfele sounding out of
its cold streets. Ivaylo and Pistolpuma join forces to deliver us a smooth, nice and deep house track. The
Walk has all the elements one need in a good house tune: a bumping square bass, funky synth layers
with a super nice uplifiting vocal phrase. Happy faces in the dancefloor for sure.

What else can you wish? Well, maybe a collection of other shades as the Norway duo is accompanied by
a golden team of loonie remixers: Jota Wagner, Mike Frugaletti and Jarle Brathen.

Jota Wagner, the man behind Colors Sound System, brings the track to a deeper level with a chunky
and hypnotic mix. Then our beloved Mike Frugaletti (Good Family Records) and his tweakin’, funky
house from Rio de Janeiro (trust us: you can almost feel the ocean breeze). The pack is completed
by and epic, strong and uplifting mix from Jarle Brathen, perfect for that peak hour late night action!

Lunatic Jazz Records proudly welcome scotish producers and DJ Funky Transport and Giles Wakler to its cast by releasing his amazing first single on the label. Funky Transport is the resident DJ of the legendary Aberdeen house nights Deep End, at Snafu Club. The producer has also a huge discography under labels like Playhouse, 20-20 Visionas and Brique Rouge, to name a few. Funky teams up with another Aberdeen´s producer, Giles Walker in this single.

Funky house is pushed to the edge in this Giles and Funky Transport´s masterpiece. The original tracks rolls up with several groovy sample layers, powerfull basslines and a great sinth explosion that makes this track a huge bomb in the dancefloor, tested and aproved by a few lucky DJs who could have the previous test mixes in their hands earlier. From the jungle to the moon... and beyond!

The single brings two additional remixes, the first one comes from Lunatic Jazz chief Jota Wagner. Jota gives his psychedelic deep touch to the track in a cleaner mix of the original that fits perfect to deeper dancefloors. Jota has been remixing names like Jay Tripwire and Q-Burns Abstract Message and has upcoming releases on Conya Records, EIGHT-TRACKS and Head Tunes.

The second rework of I´m a Man comes from Texas ranger Eddie Spettro. A rough overdrived bass and heavy break beats takes the track to the land of the strongs. Eddie also has a solid work on house music world and his tracks has been released by respected underground labels like Aroma, Chillin Music, Amenti and Nightphunk.
