Everything Is An Abstraction Layer (Original Mix)

Lunatubique is back with four tracks created throughout two recent years.

Mute EP represents inability to speak up contrasted by a burning desire to be heard and seen. It starts in a playful manner with ‘Allora’ based on sampling and vigorous beats. But it’s not that happy-go-lucky on the dance floor as it’s followed by a cold and introspective ‘Blue’ with its high-pitched melody, which leaves us in some kind of longing. The ambient track ’Spark’, however, brings a deep sense of peace and wraps the whole album with warmth, it literally sparks. The EP ends with ’Sleza’ full of lo-fi drama and again, heavy use of sampling.

Trying to recognise her own voice in a clattering chaos, Lunatubique produces sentimental yet detached compositions. They sound vague, kind of faded. But the most sincere thoughts can never be silenced, they can only be mute for a while.
