I create sung-through spoken word. Basically, free form raw lyrics.

This poem represents the countless second and third dates I have been on which seemed to hold the promise of something long-term. Instead, I repetitively encounter unrequited affection. One word answers to texts digitize the disintegration of your might-be's and could-have-been's. 

I chose to write this in both Spanish and English because of the turmoil my brain experiences which seems to transcend all language barriers. I believe the Spanish language much more passionately expresses the anguish of love (nothing against the English language).

But I really want to stop sounding like an 'artist', so I'm gonna shut up now.

Singer-songwriter currently seeking composer to collaborate with on debut album. The album is a tryptic surrounding the ideals of lust, love, and loss. It is an extremely personal work. My musical style is experimental, rooted in folk, classic rock, modern pop, trip hop, electronica, and shoegaze (heavily influenced by shoegaze here). I write songs first as freeform poems. I have a great ear and hear compositions in my head, but I lack the skills to compose all of it. You will be able to hear what I am going for by the rhythm I keep, etc.
