BIO

Tyburn Saints croon and plea to the Romantic within and yearn for bygone times. Magical realism meets a rhythmic sensibility which crashes then simmers, providing an organic backbone that makes them sound at once jarring and melodic. The band weaves together Murder Ballads, Cautionary Tales, & Psychedelic Surf to create their own Sonic Fables. The Saints are equally at home in Brooklyn or the mountains surrounding Woodstock NY.

About the Album

"For the Benefit of Strangers" was recorded at Dreamland Studios. The setting was fitting, a 19th century church converted to a studio that has in the past seen the like of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Weezer, and Dinosaur Jr. and more recently Beach house, Yeasayer, Dr. Dog, and the Hold Steady. Produced by Pete Caigan and engineered by Adam Armstrong, mastered in Dumbo by Joe Lambert who has worked with Animal Collective, Deerhunter, A place to bury Strangers, and Bat for Lashes.

Lunchbox Riot is the one-man indie-rock project of multi-instrumentalist Mike Salerno. Since 2007, he's recorded 3 self-produced albums in his recording studio in New York City. In between projects he worked as an owner and DJ of a successful live events company. Playing bars, clubs and private parties throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn, he's made connections with artists across many genres. He's produced original tracks and remixes for Grammy-winning artists and had music featured in TV shows on FOX, ABC, and Netflix.
