I was doing laundry and preparing to go home for the holidays and thinking over some recent things I have witnessed, and felt like ranting and posting my own thoughts on this kind of stuff. As a black girl who used to be very anti-SJW and more right-leaning, over time, I noticed certain trends that made me feel uncomfortable from those sides and/or didn't sit right in my mind with what they would do or imply, or not notice at all (or may avoid addressing to fit narratives, for all we know). Idk if either 'side' of these coins (political, racial, etc.) is aware of how they can use the black community and/or further divide it against itself, but I hope my words can bring insight while I'm standing much more in the middle now. I talk about some stuff that was recent as well + my own experiences a bit. It helped me form more open-minded opinions and discussions on this when you listen to both sides often.
