WUJI & Lunicium - Chaos & Order

'Ravana' is a Progressive Metal track that was written and recorded over the week leading up to Halloween. Following a series of chillout singles, I wanted to release a heavier track to coincide with the spooky season. It came together quite quickly and most of the riffs were written on the spot. This stream-of-consciousness approach is what led to the track's unconventional structure and rhythmic experimentation. It's an unrelenting, chaotic piece that, to me at least, feels cathartic and perfect for letting off some steam. The title is a reference to Ravana, the ten-headed demon king depicted in the ancient Hindu epic 'Ramayana'.

“Lunicium” is the pseudonym for the personal music project of Stephen Pryke. It is an experimental creative outlet through which he combines his composition and sound design skills to create immersive, atmospheric, and cinematic music in an eclectic range of genres, from Progressive Metal and Electronic to Neo-Classical and Jazz.
