if you’re a true hip hop head, you know Burn is a straight classic. it’s produced by Havoc and I knew he had to hold it down over a Mobb Deep beat. as soon as I heard it, I knew it was the one. i went in a little longer on this one solely because the beat called for it. super shoutout to Havoc and Prodigy (RIP, king). my only goal is to make the artists affiliated with these records proud. i KNOW Mobb Deep would give me the thumbs up on this one.

Childish Gambino. where do I even start? when the Camp album dropped, i gravitated to Hold You Down somethin’ heavy. i actually imagined performing a remix w/ Gambino although i never wrote to it. when the #MondayMayhem project was established, i knew we had to rock this one. i was nervous at first b/c i wanted to make sure we did it right. Gambino would dig this joint for sure.
