Wunderbar Supreme

Lupus Lunar is a Christchurch rock quintet based around the triple wailing guitars and close harmony singing of Dylan Hawes, Ari Freeman and Christ Noël. Sitting over the solid rhythmical foundations of bassist Nick Vassar and drummer Steve Howden.

This high energy act has quickly been gaining attention in the local scene with their catchy melodies and tight arrangements. They draw influence from the Beatles, Chicago Blues and 90's alternative rock. They term their sound: 'Earworm Rock'.

The band has shared stages with the likes of Beastwars, Hanna Harding, The Unfaithful Ways, Von Voin Strum, The Eastern and The Harbour Union. As well as playing Chartfest '11 & '12, Lyttleton Festival of Lights and have been part of numerous Christchurch earthquake fundraising shows and compilations.
