My good friend Lushbunny surprised me and flew up to LA for my birthday. So he and I played this daytime energetic set to celebrate my 39th birthday at Mars Bar in San Francisco.  It's full of vocal old school house and disco tracks, greatly influenced by all the new tracks I discovered on my recent trip to the Defected Croatia festival back in August of this year!

Last summer, we made a quick pit stop in London, where we were able to explore sonic landscapes with eager ears and hearts.  I remember basking in the hot sun, during one London's hotter summer days.  It was spending and amazing.  This set is inspired from some of the sounds that I heard while I was there: Tracks feature Joy Orbison, Terr, ANOTR, Michael Bibi, Eddy M., Josh Butler, Bebetta & CIOZ, and The Cure.

Pono is often described a thankful way of living, righteousness, or to be in a state of balance and harmony with oneself, others, and the land. We crossed the Pacific Ocean to celebrate the one and only DMW. We danced in the rain, chased chickens, and swam with sea turtles, feeling all the vibes in island of Kauai. Lushpod #71 features tracks from The Delegation, Davi, Demur, DJ Messages, Ali Love, Moderat, Sydney Blu, Starving Yet Full, and Tap Fussman.

This set was recorded live on the Disco Space Shuttle with an incredible trumpet player by the name of Pablo (Paul Theodore Chandler). We were engulfed by a massive dust storm for the first couple hours of this set but it didn't slow us down. We kept the vibe going until the skies cleared and provide a beautiful view of the Man burning. 

The final hour of the set was a 2x2 tag team session with Lushbunny while we drove around the Playa looking for trouble. 

Big shoutout to the Disco Space Shuttle crew for sharing their vibe, sound and love with all of us on Burn Night.
