In a Clockwork Orange, Moloko Vellocet, milkbars would sell milk instead of alcohol so that they would be able serve minors.  The milk would be laced with “designer drugs.” In real life milk is not a very effective delivery system for most psychoactive drugs.  Lushpod #7 is heavily inspired by the Kubrick exhibit at LACMA in Los Angeles, and features clips from his movies, soundtracks, and interviews.  With tracks from Badly Drawn Boy, Andy Cato, Junip, Jim James, Foals, Rene Bourgeois, Underworld, Acid Pauli, Atoms for Peace, LCD Soundsystem, and Cody Chestnut.

Lightning in a Bottle remains to be one of my favorite festivals in the world.  So... it is with great pleasure I get to share my set from last year's unforgettable experience on the Woogie Stage. In a world where memory loops and machine dreams blurry bass lines, Your Future Ghost is a haunting, shimmering transmission from a retro-futuristic realm where creativity and AI endlessly mirror each other. This album drifts through vaporized synthscapes, asking the questions no algorithm can answer: What is original? Are we just remixing echoes of echoes? 

Your Future Ghost plays like a haunted jukebox in a neon-lit cathedral of lost futures. It fuses nostalgia, melancholy, and analog amnesia into a sonic hallucination that samples the past to question the future. Covers of songs that never existed, melodies born from code and intuition. This Lushpod is more of a séance, summoning ghosts not just of dead artists but of forgotten ideas.

Each track is a conversation between human impulse and machine logic, between intention and repetition. It's a soundtrack for the twilight of originality and the dawn of something new, yet creepily familiar.

There are not too many things I love more than house music and champagne!  And this set reflects how happy I was while throwing it down! Its chalk full of fun bouncy house & nudisco tracks, including the debut of one of my very own remix mash up!  This was played at Burning Man for Bubbles and Bass's famous all girl line up closing party on Saturday!  What a way to round  out such a fabulous week in the dust!

Duck Pond, Burning Man 2025 - Tuesday Animal Control Takeover

Dane's set after Tycho on the Axolotl from 7:00-8:00am on Thursday August 28, 2025 at Burning Man.

This set was inspired by my newborn son, Sage Hart, and the new fractal of life he has invited me into - one of a simple embodied presence through which the blissful tingle of being shines.  He is teaching me what it means to truly love, in both the peak moments and the mundane, and I could feel this new flavor of love and blissful presence flowing through me and the music as I played.

By Thursday morning, after days of the mundane - rain and wind, building and rebuilding, dust and mud - I was so ready to be in community, to smile, to dance and to play together. I think we all were.

Feeling grateful that the weather gods showed us some mercy and gave us clear skies and sunshine just in time for the playa to dry for Thursday sunrise - and an epic communal peak moment.

Feeling grateful to collaborate with my friends 1) Scott Hanson / Tycho for over a decade of co-creating Thursday sunrise and 2) master of percussion, Noah Katz-Appel, for the inspired and ecstatic drumming.

Special thanks to everyone who made it out to deep playa for sunrise, Cory, Brigham and the whole Axolotl crew, Tarna, and Edna the Elephant for making magic together.❤️🙏☀️
