The Pain Cave is a visualization model that ultra-endurance athletes have used to push the boundaries of their physical and mental limitations. As I embark on my second marathon, I intend to go back into the pain cave. To feel the aching desire to push yourself, to see what is beyond the horizon, and to feel all waves the emotions.
