This mix has to be from 2004 or 2005. I remember being in the studio at Hardware's house and it was a spontaneous set where if my memory serves me well, I think we played 2 or 3 tracks each. What a great time!

Lushus Brown + DJ Hardware Tag Team Mix

This set is from 2009, but I'd have to say it's one I that I like a lot. I was forced to take a break (not by choice) from playing for a short period of time. This is one of the first live mixes I did after that hiatus. There is one dodgy moment in mix and for those who study mixes will know where it happens. For me it reinforces for the art of playing vinyl. Timing is everything however, the dodgy moment(s) are good to have because it is a great reminder of putting my perfectionist tendencies into check and to have fun.

As a member of Injoy Presents, Lushus Brown (born Elaina Brown) continues to bring her brand of funky vocal house and electro to dance floors throughout the US. After turning professional in 2001, she quickly found herself spinning at some of Houston's premier venues, including Bambu Lounge, The Social, Seven Lounge, Belvedere, and M Bar. In 2003, she was named the Critic's Choice for Best Lounge DJ in Houston. In both 2004 and 2005, she received nominations in the same category for the Houston Press Music Awards.
