For our first broadcast of the Loafy Tunes show hosted by soft touch on Netil Radio, we are chuffed to be having dj and producer Nikos as our guest artist. As a deeply rooted artist in the young and emerging music and art scene of Rotterdam, Nikos has had several appearances on platforms such as Future Intel or Operator Radio and has been organising special ambient listening sessions called Pelagic Ambient around the Randstad of Netherlands (Amsterdam, De Hague, Rotterdam and Utrecht). Additionally he released his first track ‘Maintenance’ on Laib und Seele Records on the recent compilation release LUSCOMP001. For this month's show Nikos has prepared a mix of a mystical and an evolving nature. Touching minimal dubby techno, bass music with nuances of electro engulfed in ambient sounds and tribal percussive elements, the mix subtly but surely gets fuller with energy as it progresses.

We welcome Andre Blackwood as our guest artist for the second installment of Loafy Tunes on Netil Radio. The up and coming Colombian producer and dj released his first EP on Laib und Seele Records recently (LUS006), where he employs a detroit style techno sound as well as nuances of tech house. And for this month's show Andre has prepared a mix touching similar sounds akin to his EP, navigating through a diverse range of genres including techno, tech house and everything in between.
As usual @ogsofttouch covers the second hour of the show with a mix of tech house, uk bass, trance and other bits and bops.

We are chuffed to have @cathydaniels, a long time friend of label, join us for this month’s Loafy Tunes on Netil Radio. She is a member of the Catharsis collective in Berlin which currently acts as a party and podcast series. 

In her own words this mix is for the club and the dance floor and we couldn’t agree more with this sentiment. Touching a variety of genres ranging from acid, breaks, house, she achieves to create a deep and hypnotic atmosphere with bursts of emotion seamlessly sprinkled throughout the whole journey. All vinyl and mixed masterfully, this mix is a testament to Cathy’s dj skills and taste in music.

For the first show of 2022 we are excited to have Dj Very Well once more on Loafy Tunes as our guest. 1/3s of Laib und Seele Records and one of the prominent minds and organisers behind the Traumburg festival, Dj Very Well has been in the scene for sometime now. As well as making it happen for up and coming artists in the scene, he has also been working hard on his own craft. It is always a pleasure to listen to his well designed mixes, not only because a lot of thought goes behind the selection of each track, but also because his energy and love for music resonates through the unique flow. This one is no different from any of his other performances; a multi genre crossing mix of dance floor music with a focus on the more left field spectrum of sounds. 

As usual first hour is mixed by our resident host @ogsofttouch and the second hour by Dj Very Well.

A big welcome to the dear @nataliamartinovna. We are very excited to have her for this month’s Loafy Tunes show on Netil Radio. We met Natalia last year at her Traumburg debut in Schloss Dornburg. She did such a great job with her set that we had to ask her if she would join the radio for a little spin. And after months, today is the day she brings those vibes back on the Netil radio waves. Expect a solid mix of house, tech house, deep house, breaks and much more as Natalia guides us through the second hour of the show. 

For the first hour, as per usual, @ogsofttouch will be spinning the wheels, or more like records this time, as he brings a special vinyl only episode.

LUS records welcomes Nightdrive to the family with the 9th release on the label. St Petersburg based producer brings 3 masterfully composed House tracks that are elevated with hints of garage and bass music, creating an interesting edge and a mysterious yet playful mood.
The EP kicks off with Karusel, setting the mysterious tone which builds up to a hopeful expectation. This mystery leads to the second piece where the EP moves to a more playful mood with FLARTF resolving the build up. And finally the EP comes to an end with Nonstop, slowing the pace down ever so slightly and almost faring a bid well to the listener.

Loafy Tunes warmly welcomes David Bilek, a student of composition in Weimar and Den Haag, for this month’s show on Netil radio. David, in his own words, experiments with new ways of listening. With a combination of soundscape, experimental and ambient sounds, he tries to create a place to dream and drift into unknown parts of your own mind. David brings a soundscape like performance for the first hour of the show and soft touch will take on from there with a mix of ambient sounds followed by more club focused tracks. Do listen with headphones if possible as it’s going to be an interesting one.

Happy belated easter folks! We are very excited for another take-over show this month as Aideen Ryan takes charge of the wheels of music. Aideen is an Irish-born selector whose sets span a multitude of genres from Modern Soul to Afro Disco and Balearic House to everything in between. Expect to be taken on a cosmic musical journey and hear some treasures which you never knew existed before!

Loafy Tunes hits its 2nd anniversary this month! 24 shows, 24 guests and a lot of hours spent on making this show consistent and listen-worthy each month. A big thanks to all that has supported us through this journey. 
In celebration of this anniversary, Polycore joins us with a rather dark, percussion heavy mix in In their own words, they explore the territories of experimental sounds. With a keen focus on deep percussion, thriving beats and hypnotic rhythms, Polycore challenges the listener to experience sound in ever-changing ways. With a dedication to sonic exploration, each set becomes a journey through multiple elements, blending polyrhythms, ambient textures and breaks to construct an immersive sonic landscape to create a deeper experience for their listener.

We join forces with Hamburg based Päd for this month's show who is part of the toomuchfuture DJ crew, and has a monthly radio show on Hallo:Radio. For his bit of the show, expect a deep dive into slower and even dubby edges of electronic music.

Loafy tunes warmly welcomes Johana Jost to this month's broadcast. In the Berlin based DJ's own words, she grew up in a musical family, which had a huge impact on her special flair for music. From a young age her ears were attuned to soulful melodies and infectious rhythms of various genres. Johana's passion for the turntables was ignited during years of enjoying the vibrant nightlife of Germany‘s capital. It was in the underground clubs and eclectic record stores of the city that she found her calling. Her sets are known for taking you on a journey of fusing genres and eras of house music ranging from classical Chicago and Soulful House over Deep House tunes to funky beats. Groovy and bouncy basslines will guide you from past to present in music history and find your hips shaking.

Loafy tunes welcomes another brilliant Berlin based dj, Keex, for this month's show. Keex mostly digs classic and deep house sounds, but loves engaging rhythms and melodies of different genres. You can surely expect this type of style for her debut on netil radio. She also is the co-founder of Berlin-based xcuse:u collective that focuses on community building and promoting FLINTA* artists and perspectives in clubculture. If you are in Berlin you can also catch her at the Alte Münze on December 16th at the event "On the Present and Future of Clubculture".

Continuing on with Berlin based djs, Loafy tunes warmly welcomes TEJA to this month's show. In his own words, TEJA has carved out his own eclectic and highly recognisable sound ranging from left field corners and calming ambient techno to hidden trance gems and pumping bass and hard groove tracks. The interplay of rhythm and new sounds is always at the core of his sets stemming from his background in drumming and percussion for over 20 years and through incorporating sounds he picked up during his time spent in the rave scenes in Eastern Asia. He has performed at all kinds of venues in Berlin, Passau, Munich and even Taipei. And this month he has recorded a brilliant mix for his guest slot on Loafy Tunes.
Cherry on top, in his warm up hour soft touch will be doing things slightly different this time around and mixing progressive house and trance bits.

Happy new year everyone! We are ready to kick off 2024 as the Colombian DJ and producer A. Naranjo joins us as this month's guest. With a soft spot for the classic sounds of house music, his music and selection are characterized by a joyful energy, blending nostalgic 90s vibes with modern influences. In 2020, alongside Emilio Mustafa, he co-founded Noisy Neighbours, a label aiming to spotlight the thriving house music scene in the Latin American region and showcase its abundant followers and talented creators. Following a successful 2023 with multiple releases and gigs in London and Barcelona, he is thrilled to be on Loafy Tunes and we are humbled to have him on.

Loafy Tunes welcomes the Boom Room boys back to Netil radio for a special episode of house music. Josh Sparrow and soft touch are promoting their upcoming Boom Room event at the Jago, taking place on April 20th. 

For those who don’t know the drill by now they are all about bringing raucous and rebellious rave energy to the East London nightlife landscape. Their goal is to bring together different scenes and tribes into one place. Creating a beautiful cocktail of dancing bodies and smiling faces. At the upcoming Boom Room event they are joined by Marron Bitch (aka Fidel) and Nadia Ksabia, two staples of the London clubbing scene. Marron Bitch is a resident at ‘London’s Hottest All Night Queer Rave' House Of Trash and has DJed in some of the best clubs in the world such as Turnmills (RIP), Ministry, Pacha and Space. The legendary Nadia Ksabia is an NTS resident and has graced the decks at XOYO, Optimo, Bugged Out, Fabric, Glitterbox, Plastic People etc. etc. These two are joined by the Boom Room residents Josh Sparrow and soft touch. A proper line up that is.. 

So if you are about, cop a ticket on RA, support the rave cause and come have a boogie! And of course enjoy the radio show!

A space to say fuck you to the policing of women’s bodies and celebration of woman empowerment as well as sexual liberation.

With her mix she brings a warm, playful and at times somber energy, showcasing her diverse taste in jazz, funk and afro-beat, as she manages to masterfully navigate through the vast emotional landscape.
