This is a roughly hewn, frayed-edged and frazzled track cobbled together from accumulated well-worn sounds and creaky audio detritus lying about. It's as unpolished as most of my other tracks, only more so. Noisy, scrunched, mashed and mangled. Layers and layers of loud. As usual.

The atmosphere is trying to evoke the energy and seemingly invisible rage that exists between our atoms and molecules, which are the essence of what make us connected to everything, but ourselves.

None of that makes any sense, really.

But I love the way it builds.

Aspetuck is an American producer & DJ fascinated by groove & rhythm as well as the hypnotic nature of the deeper sides of electronic music. Growing up in sleepy Vermont, without easy access to any inkling of a nightlife scene, the internet was Aspetuck's only form of musical discovery for those formative days. Years later, after living in both Brooklyn and Los Angeles, Aspetuck was very quickly drawn into the robust nightlife cultures of both cities that was so absent in the rural hills of the northeast. 

He is not only inspired by the current scene but also heavily inspired by genres outside of the contemporary electronic world including but not limited to krautrock, dub, new wave / post-punk, shoegaze, jazz, soul & funk.  Immersing himself in both music production and photography, two creative outlets that seemingly complement & balance each other, he is quietly finding his voice with the help of a broad range of influences to draw from.

Adhémar is a multi-disciplinary artist, establishing his universe through music and visual works.
Constantly in search of the luminous quality of sounds, in a world made of shadows and light, his music is closely linked to his plastic work. 
This obsession with shadows leads him to think and create spaces, atmospheres that focus on the lightness and poetry of light. The idea of "narrative potential of music", allows us to confront the psychological and philosophical journey with a particular relationship on what is alive and what surrounds us (whether it is the material, immaterial world, the fact that everything is constantly becoming). With a particular rigour for transitions, whether in his own production or in his DJ set, his universe is built little by little, with the passing of sound transformations and the light and poetic transportation of it all.
