Leck Meine Bahn - they are back! These two space cadets bring back home some heavy radiated elements from outer space. After a two year odyssey, they return back to mother earth with an insane Live Set (Backslash Festival 2022) and a Battery Point EP full of blasting fusion energy. Their musical capsule comes packed with new textures, mixed up with an unholy but tasty reduction of Jungle and Trance substances melting with a fusion of Bass Music and industrial space chugs.
This cosmologic sound match is leading to a new co-dependency between gravity and bass. Their enigmatic grooves are ponderous yet playful and every alien ear which listened to this intergalactic call so far, could not escape this quirky dance atmosphere. Brainwaves music commanders aka LMB are Estebahn and Yolek and this composition is their second EP which results to an extension of new boundaries in our further rave solar system. Including two massive remixes by Jan Loup and Nuevo Prohibido to beam up every sort of flesh to the the next bass portal. Space alert!

As a trained musician and performance artist, Kupalua expands their vision as a composer on Mais Puta LP, with a sonic language deeply rooted in their own life experiences. What unfolds is a daring musical vision. Drawing on their extensive stage experience, they use their body as an instrument—integrating stripper floor work and dance with movement sensors that manipulate sound in real time, playing music from unexpected orifices of the body, and creating an immersion that transcends sound. Their dramaturgy invites us to come closer: it’s a physical experience.

A dynamic interplay of distorted Brazilian rhythms, meticulously fashioned electronic atmospheres and provocative, unsettling voices, Kupalua's sophomore album focuses, refines and mutates the sounds and themes she's been investigating for the last few years in both her musical work and her academic research. 'MAIS PUTA' picks up where 2024's tight but hard-hitting 'PUTA' EP left off, continuing a deeply personal account of Kupalua's previously separate lives as an artist and as a sex worker. On the EP, she devised challenging ways to approach sex, love and gender roles that were braided into her experience as a Brazilian living in Europe - unraveling the continent's very different cultural and moral expectations. And that interplay is still very much at the root of 'MAIS PUTA'; its lyrical content is steered by the profound insights she's accessed from her visceral lived experiences, but shot through with raw, tongue-in-cheek humor, surrealism and, most importantly, carnivalesque dancefloor energy.

A lot like the world we currently occupy, Jack Pattern's sound heads darker on this release, recalling distant memories of dystopian nuclear wastelands, Total Recall-esque interplanetary life and the rise of AI machines. With a hefty collection of vintage drum boxes and weighty analogue synthesizers, the EP throbs and hums in all the right places, with UnknownMix singer Magda Vogel's vocals really doing the track on "Codex". Fans of that dark, electroid sound from Borft, Frak and Tillander will love this, as will general lovers of EBM and new beat. It's discordant but harmonious, jagged and mechanical but rhythmic and enveloping. It's absolutely brilliant but definitely not for the faint hearted!
