Air in G (in this transcription played in D major for solo guitar) BWV1068 by J.S Bach is arguably one of the most common pastoral's music being played in most Roman Catholic churches normally using it's pipes organ. The "Air" was originally written down on four staves, for first violins, second violins, violas, and continuo bass. The eerie, interweaving melody lines of the high strings contrast with a pronounced rhythmic drive in the bass. J.S Bach had his superiority in his melodic harmony in this piece, making some challenge for a solo classical guitarist players

Por Una Cabeza is one of the famous piece of composer Carlos Gardel, arguably one of the most popular latin American tango song. Usually it is played in the full orchestra music composition, the song became famous after it was adopted by 2 big movies, (1) Scent of Woman and (2) True Lies, starring Arnold Schwarzeneger Hollywood top box movies. The True Lies director requested John Williams composer to arrange & directed the orchestra with Itzhak Perlman as his main violist soloist. It is a little bit challenge for me to compress the orchestra version into a solo classical guitar version, but at least here is the result ....

Today is ordinary Sunday 28 Jan 2018, I was fascinated & touched by the opening mass choir who sang " Glory to God in the highest " beautifully at the church of Saint Bernadette of Singapore. Inspired by it's grandeur choir vocal & beautiful organ, I decided to arrange it in a solo guitar using Luthier - Cuenca model. I tried very hard to remake it as graceful as & as grand as in the church's sunday mass ... at least here it is my solo version ...
