I thought I would opening this podcast and show appreciation on the genre that most South Africans and now the rest of the world is starting to appreciate - Amapiano. I opted to keep it at 108bpm just so we can here the minimal and the original sound and most importantly, to display and show the diversity of drums behind our African Electronic Dance Music, I hope you enjoy the intro and standby for the 31st for the first episode of Tribal Hertz!

From the cover art to the actual set, it was a way i felt after a gig where i had an empty dance floor the duration of my 2 hour set. It was a rollercoaster of emotions and hopefully that translated into the set.

Its an honour and privilege to have Mr. Jack as a guest DJ on Tribal Hertz for the 2nd episode of the series. For those who don´t know Mr. Jack - his real name is Asemahle Theo Jack,  originally born in Mdantsane, Eastern Cape, South Africa but is now based in Germany. He brings  the vibrant rhythms of Afro House/Tech and SA Deep House to the stage. One of Mr. Jack´s performances was opening up the World Club Dome for 2024, paving and setting the tone the big event based in Frankfurt Germany. 
With roots steeped in the diverse sounds of South Africa, his sets blend cultural beats and pulsating melodies that transports audiences in Europe to Africa. His goal is to try and create unforgettable moments on the dance floor!
