As masters of the full sensory psychedelic experience, audio-visual group Zebbler Encanti Experience return to Gravitas Recordings with their newest offering, Freakquency. Coining a musical style they refer to as "psytrap", ZEE shows off their aural dynamism by combining elements from dubstep, psytrance, trap, and other bass music styles into five tenaciously coherent songs. Sound design takes center stage in their creations, transporting the listener into an ever expanding kaleidoscopic world populated by entities that are anything but monochrome. Each track on the EP will also be given it's very own visual treatment, creating an ocular story that challenges popular subjective conceptions of beauty and desolation. Due July 15th, the album will be available through Gravitas as an expected pay-what-you-want download, opening the doors for every listener to ride this Freakquency.

Ganesha opens the roads marking the beginning of the album with the deep Tibetan prayer bowl laying the resonant foundation. The ancient Sanskrit mantra invokes the elephant-headed Hindu god of beginnings, Ganesha himself, offering freedom from obstacles in our path in order to manifest our individual and collective intentions.

Om Gam Shreem Ganapataye Namaha 

Translation / Explanation:
Om/Aum is a sacred primordial sound & symbol that signifies the essence of all creation, consciousness or Atman.  It is often recited at the beginning of all Hindu prayers.
Gam is the sound representing the energy of Ganesha himself - as remover of obstacles. It is his bija (seed syllable) mantra.
Shreem is a another bija (seed) mantra vibrating the essence of the goddess of wealth, Lakshmi 
Ganapataye, another name for Ganesha and is the formal Sanskrit pronunciation of the god's name.
Namaha is difficult to translate literally, but its meanings include “it is not mine” and “in your essence, we bow to you.”

Bridging allies through the dance, Xangô (Orixa of lightning and thunder, patron of the sacred drums & dances, and keeper of the fire element) is called upon to help us dance with jaguar and fire medicine.

Oxum is an adaptation from an old Yoruba song originating in the Terreiros of Candomblé in Brazil. The song invokes the goddess of love and the sweet waters, Mother Oxum to share her immense beauty and grace with us. Flowing with the sweet nectar of life, her gentle waters call us to cleanse and purify as we surrender our attachment to the banks of the river and allow ourselves to be moved by its currents. As we gaze into the crystalline waters, we witness the beauty of our ever-changing self reflected in Oxum’s loving mirror.

Tonantzin represents the Great Mother goddess, or Mother Earth coming from the Aztec language of Nahuatl. She has numerous names and faces across the many First Nations of the world. Weaving her primordial song with the aboriginal didgeridoo, the song anchors the energy of the drum while lifting the Spirit of the dancer to help us remember we are Earth.

BAIUCA is a project that mixes traditional Galician music with avant-garde electronics. In his live shows he combines traditional Galician instrumentation with synthesizers, sequencers, pads, etc .; In addition to being accompanied by one of the most prestigious video artists in Spain, he projects images with Galician motifs and intervenes them with image synthesizers, giving rise to an immersive show that mixes tradition and avant-garde. After a year in which he has presented his debut album "Solpor", chosen as one of the best albums of 2018 by means of Spain and Europe, he has just published "Misturas", his new EP, and signed remixes for the argentineans Chancha Vía Circuito and Kermesse or the romanians Balkan Taksim, and prepare a tour that will take you through some of the most important festivals in Spain, and through stages of countries like Portugal, United Kingdom, Italy, Holland or France sharing dates with prestigious artists such as the artist ecuadorian Nicola Cruz.

Following last month's inaugural installment from Desert Trax, the world and electronic music label releases yet another star-studded line-up of producers re-imagining the rich compositions of World Soul artist, Poranguí. 

This latest installment opens with famed English producer, El Búho, whose Latin American folk and cumbia-inspired take on “Danza del Viento” absolutely lifts the Spirit. Both Momentology and DJ Taz Rashid have been on a hot streak, pairing up for a number of releases on Desert Dwellers' label, but this time the pair aim for a Latin-focused, earthy remix of “Canto de la Selva.” Coming off a massive Desert Trax release earlier this summer in Apu, duo Jakare (Italian producers Halfred and Lo.Renzo) bring their South American slow house sound to Poranguí's “Otorongo”. 

Newcomers to the label Ryan Herr, Walkerji, and Baptiste Sejourne are joined by returning favorites Moon Frog, Ancestral Elephants, and Erothyme. Once again one of the label's most prolific artists, Poranguí, has woven together a powerful constellation of talent to interpret these potent medicine songs.
