After having both tracks premiered as part of the 'Colorscapes Volume Three' compilation, British act Trilucid puts together a bold two-track EP that brings their immaculate sound to the fore in style. Kicking things off is Japan’s Lycoriscoris with his beautifully meditative ‘Belong’, followed by the mellow and melodic ‘Immunity’ by prodigious British debutant Ocula. @jamesanjunadeep and @jodywisternoff present the 'Anjunadeep 10 Remix Sampler' - a double cut featuring their own reinterpretations of Tomas Barfod’s ’Things That Matter’ and Jani R’s ‘Autumn Feathers’.

In their ‘Things That Matter’ remix, James and Jody weave the vocals of Louise & Sharin Foo through a warm melodic arrangement reminiscent of the uplifting house sound of the 2000s, whilst their take on ‘Autumn Feathers’ features a slightly more minimalistic sound with an orchestral influence.

Nox Vahn first arrived onto the global stage as ‘Fairchild’, a young classically-trained musician championed by Grammy-nominated producer Kaskade. Leaving Laurel is a tale of two old friends Gordon & Pierce; connecting musically for the first time after being close friends for almost a decade. Inspired by recording into an old, thought to be broken, cassette tape player, a new project materialised seemingly out of thin air - something neither of them knew they were looking for.

Leaving Laurel's ‘Need Little, Want Less’ features harmonies evocative of Kiasmos and Tycho, whilst their production culminates in cinematic soundscapes reminiscent of Jon Hopkins in 'sometimes it’s scary…but it’s still just you and me’.

Out January 10th, Leaving Laurel’s inaugural release provides the bedrock for 2020, ahead of a hotly-anticipated track on Anjunadeep 11 and more exciting music to come.
