Glitch in the Matrix - Tomcraft & Eniac Remix

Founded by Carl Cox in 1998, over its long history Intec has turned out countless classics. A huge vehicle that fuelled dancefloors with quality cuts during its vinyl powered heyday, after a brief hiatus the operation was re-thought and re-launched for the digital realm in 2010 with Jon Rundell stepping up to the plate to help oversee the label and lend a hand to the A&R process. Encouraging their roster of established and emerging talent to draw on a new aspect of their production Intec Digital has welcomed something special from each one of their sounds. 

We first hosted Intec in Room One back in October 2013, an event which began a run of Thursday night sessions which have never failed to be brimming with the grand scale of energy that Cox and Rundell never fail to bring to a dancefloor. So, seeing that these have always been such memorable experiences, it made perfect sense to take full advantage of the upcoming Easter weekend (and the first Bank Holiday of the season) to bring Intec in for an all night long takeover of both Room One and Two enabling us to showcase more of the label's talent with a cast that includes Carl Cox, Jon Rundell, Carlo Lio, Monika Kruse, Marco Bailey & Harvey Mckay.

In the lead up to the event in question we've aligned some mixes from the artists set to come and express their sounds this Easter coming, starting today with an exclusive mix from techno stalwart Marco Bailey. Here he demonstrates his capacity for ramping up the energy levels between hypnotic states, a set sure to lock anyone into the groove of a dancefloor.

Bio

At age 16, Skov started buying vinyl and played some sets at local events.  As a true House fan, he later on, bought more Techno and French House. The electronic music got stuck in his head and he created a passion producing his own tracks.  After a long and steep learning curve he finally started to release his music in 2018.  From that date till now, he gained some support from Marco Bailey, Boxia, Tom Hades, Richie Hawtin, Blawan and many others. Producing in Ableton has become his most important part of the day.  Combining job, family and music has become a 24/7 occupation.  But he likes it a lot!  Stay tuned for many tracks to come in the near future on some very strong labels.

BluFin Records welcome back German titan Lutzenkirchen for a new EP that hits hard and includes remixes from Tomcraft & Eniac, Christian Cambas and Roland Romer & Ill-Boy Phil.

The long time techno champion Lutzenkirchen has released on labels like Great Stuff and Plan B and has a sound as electronic yet funk driven as they come. First up is Glitch In The Matrix, a dark track that has frazzled bass and chunky drums. It's one to drive you forwards and freak you out in equal measure. Tomcraft & Eniac remix into a more house-leaning track but one with wonky synths and tripped out stabs. It's perfect for late nights.

After a dub mix comes Schedule For Wankers, which is a busy techno cut with serragated synth lines and banging drums all running through with some cosmic energy that will blow up the club. Christian Cambas remixes it into something darker and more fierce, with laser like synths shooting over the face of the track and freaky energy to spare. Roland Römer & Ill-Boy Phil then remixes and layers in frazzled bass and some sci-fi motifs to close out the package.

This is another hard hitting release from the always on form Blu-Fin.
