LUU Spoken Word Society is a Leeds-based group of poets and performers with proclivities to humour, passion, relentless rhyming, rhetorical repetitions and alliteration.  We work with and within the student community, hosting open mic nights and poetry slams,  recording performances and raising awareness for local charities/organisations. 

The recordings and pieces herein are courtesy of the incredible talents Leeds has to offer, and testament to the integrity and value of this oft-overlooked aural artform, an artform which hosts and harnesses the things we feel about everything.
