This is my first ever drum and bass track. My aim is was originally to create drum and bass for a more mature audience. There are a lot of people my age that grew up listening to this music and love it, but don't get much chance to go out to clubs etc. I wanted a track and style that was for people that love the energy in drum and bass but want a more soulful, jazz influenced and, well easy to listen to experience without being in a club. 

This track layed the foundation for my style. That is, to have two parts to the tune that are distinct but similar. With the second part being a little harder and edgier with tougher basses and instrumentation. I was lucky to find such amazing vocals. It made the process of adding music to it a lot easier as I was inspired and the music flowed out of me.
