Future Classic have operated at the cutting edge of electronic music for more than ten years. But it’s only now that the Sydney-based collective are getting their well deserved recognition, with the worldwide success of artists including Flume, Chet Faker, Flight Facilities, Ta-ku and Jagwar Ma among others. Despite their diverse roster, the label managed to develop a convincing signature sound, effortlessly straddling the line between dreamy home listening and unapologetic dancefloor antics. This track, recorded at the Future Classic Writing Camp at the Red Bull Studios New York earlier this year, presents the label’s next generation of star producers, Touch Sensitive and Charles Murdoch, alongside singer Ayo Olatunji, whose vocals turn the off kilter beat ballad into a sublime pop gem for our times.
