“I came across the original record while I was digging for Middle Eastern music. It had this very energetic and sort of heroic vibe to it. There are a lot of emotions going on throughout the whole song. I just couldn’t get enough of it. So I decided to sample the main parts and completely flip it. I wanted to emphasize the energetic part while making it more mysterious. My goal was to turn it into something new rather than just make it dancefloor friendly. The sample was tough but very fun to play with.”

MDS is serving records since almost 15 years in the Munich nightlife scene and are residents since day one at Club Goldener Reiter and former AWI. Known for their large collection of vinyl, you never know what’s in the bag but one thing you do know, they never disappoint. 
Normally they deliver as a duo, but this time Simon steps in alone to mix one hour of high energetic vocal driven house from 1989 -1993. Pace yourself for piano riffs, forward pushing baselines and punchy kicks flawlessly mixed on his Condesa. Vinyl only ;-)

This time I've added some extra colours and flavours to Andy Compton & Shamrock's "Roga Mziki", released two years ago via Lumberjacks In Hell.

Clubs are closed, but we still need to dance.
