Roy O (feat. BJ The Chicago Kid and Dante Higgins) - Work It Out [Prod. by Luvjonez]

This track began as a beat titled "After Hours" and was first featured on Instagram as a animated beat video. Italian vocalist Cristina heard the track and contacted me about how much she liked it. When I offered her the song to play around with, she sent back a fully realized vocal track, sang entirely in Italian and inspired by the original title of the track. I was so impressed with the results, that I asked to release it for the public. After working with multi-instrumentalist BryVox to add some other elements, we arrived at the version you hear now. 

This was a fun and unexpected collaboration and I'm happy to finally be releasing it for people to listen.

Stars Above (Mornin' Yawnin')

The main vibe of this track reminded of the sound of a plane or rocket engine at take off, so I shaped a chill, sky bound track around that sound.

Just messing around with a variety of sounds and vibes.

BLAST OFF

I made this track as an ode to the parts of my life that took me from New York to Portland, Oregon. The name "Bridgetown" is a nickname for Portland, but I made this beat using the drums from MC Shan's "The Bridge" as a nod to my NYC life and how bridges played a role in both places.
