Oslo's Sommerfeldt returns to home label badabing diskos with another EP of terrific disco, house and dub cuts.

Sommerfeldt has been cooking up his own fresh Scandi-sounds for more than 10 years. He has landed on this label as a solo artist but also with the likes of Sigmund Floyd, while also releasing on labels including Prins Thomas’ Full Pupp, Beatservice and Paper Recordings. He has remixed artists such as Amp Fiddler and is a mainstay of the club scene in Oslo who always brings the party.

The dub version of ´Tell Me What To Do´ presents an intimate atmosphere with organic percussion and extra synth sparkle. The track has a warm, wavy bass line and balmy cosmic pads up top. Another timeless fusion of house and cosmic disco from Sommerfeldt.

We can't tell you much about Pilots Of Peace except that they dropped one well-received Balearic EP on Citizens Of Vice just under a year ago, and now they're back with another. The EP opens with the blissed-out chug of 'You've Just Got To Let Go', with 'Got To Go Insane' continuing in a similar vein. 'Matsui Hi-Fi' then drops down into a deeper groove with clear nods to both acid house and Afro jazz - an unlikely combo that works surprisingly well - before a rework of Joe Simon's 'Carry Me' from 1974 plays us out on a more laidback soul tip.

Founded in 2019, Citizens Of Vice is a sub-label of the tougher big brother Night Noise Music. Focusing in bringing to life delicious House and Nu Disco gems, the French outlet has fast conquered the hearts and minds of the Summer-infused cuts lovers out there. For the forthcoming addition to its impeccable catalogue, Citizens welcomes back the respected Den Haag-based artists Offshore and Coen, whose previous well-received works were issued on Phat Elephant, Lazy Days, Kolour, Milk & Sugar, Atjazz Record Company, and Freerange, just to name a few.

Their next EP, "Hold On", along with regular collaborator Paya, is simply a delight! We fell particularly in love with "Deep Inside", hence the decision of premiering it. The theme endorses the competence of the Dutch duo and is destined to become a huge success even during the cold European winter – enjoying it at a pool party in Côte d'Azur will have to wait a little bit. Melodic, groovy, beautiful... the list of adjectives can be easily increased, but we believe you already got the gist.
