[8 Ball Radio] Kinetic Energy - Juneteenth Weekend 2023

Episode 23 of my show Kinetic Energy is called "What's the matter?" ...a phrase that might be uttered by an AI-powered robot when it's trying to troubleshoot its own mistakes. But does it have a sense of its own complicity?

I have been interested in the idea of errors made by AI, and how we would distinguish them from human errors. At work, I sometimes use ChatGPT and I have noticed strange errors made by AI that I can describe as illogical conclusions, or sometimes, flat out imaginary information (hallucinations, I guess). 

In the near future, we may further technologize our perfection of artificial intelligence by using AI to identify its own errors. How would this be different in nature from identifying errors made by humans?

I had a corrupted usb hours beforehand, and the dancefloor was tough to get moving— unexpectedly this turned out to be one of my favorite sets I've played to date. From soft glow, electro-tinted prog house to high-energy trance/techno euphoria, this was an exploration of some of the more pop, trancey and proggy sounds I'd been collecting.
