This is not the first song I've written, but it is far my favorite.  I have one recorded song I made with my disintegrating band, and a few others I made with my guitar teacher.  So for now I'm just a one man project with just Garage Band at my disposal.  This song, Eternity, reflects my passion for symphonic music with a touch of heavy metal.  I will have a version with vocals, hopefully soon once I can find a singer(cause singing is the last thing I should be doing, haha)  Enjoy! :]

Eternity (Instrumental)

One of my earlier recordings.  This was composed and recorded during my sessions with my guitar teacher.  He provided the drums and recording software while I composed and wrote the rest of the song.  The MIDI instruments like the horn and choir were totally improvised on the spot.  Enjoy!

Chasing A Dream

The first and only song recorded with my bandmates and close friends.  Due to school work, limited transportation, and long distances it was nearly impossible for us to get together to practice and record.  I did most of the writing and once we were ready, we were lucky to have a friend who had access to a recording studio.  Time was precious to us and we used it wisely.  Given what we had, I'm pleased with the way the song turned out!

Here is the finished version of The Lady in Black, excluding vocals.  This'll actually be the first of three tracks that'll fulfill the songs' lyrical story, as I didn't want to consolidate it all into one long song.  Once I have completed my next track entitled 'Starfire', I'll get ready with the second part.  Enjoy!

A simple Minnesotan with a love for writing and making music!  My solo project, Lux Aetheris, incorporates rock and metal with symphonic music.  I focus heavily on melodies and draw inspiration from film scores, especially ones used in Fantasy movies and video games while experimenting with my style.  Most of my songs are purely instrumental, but I hope to add vocals to some of them.
