Daniel Mendes aka Lū-x, Portuguese dj / producer expresses himself in the booths through a powerful hybrid setup joining two worlds Digital and Analog, Techno is his musical language.
Lū-x began his journey as a dj in 2007, was in the club Via Lactea (viseu, pt) where he demonstrated his full potential. At that time he quickly caught the interest of the main promoters of the Techno Scene in Portugal, e.g. Tecnoinside and Urban beats among others.
In 2008, he joined Urban Beats managed by Du'art, where monthly events were organized in several clubs like the "bang the box" events at Alcantra-mar (Lisbon/pt) but also the great nights at Stressless (Leiria/pt) among many others.
A year after starting his DJ career Lū-x decided to organize his own events in his city, Peso da Régua / pt, which inevitably were a success.
In 2009, the start of production and released tracks on labels like Drakos Recordings, Lauter Unfug, Keep On Techno. He made some co-productions with producers like Du'Art (kne'deep).
In 2012, he decides to move back to Luxembourg and a new chapter opens in his life.
In the first year he was not very active but in 2014 everything changes when he embraces with great ambition and dedication the project that his great friend Tiago Teixeira aka Døuble T had already started Pitch Mouvement, being considered one of the best and most respected agencies / promoters of events in Luxembourg performing so far a hundred events in the most prestigious clubs in the country.
Currently Lū-x is considered one of the leading Techno artists in Luxembourg.
He shared the booth with big names in Techno such as Ben Sims, Rush, Truncate, Oxia, Tom Hades, Cristian Varela, among many others
Some Clubs where Lū-x already played, Alcantara Club, Warehouse, Stressless, Sala 114, Via Lactea, Tuatara, Big Cansil, Armazem F, Piscinas Régua, SK (Saphir), Subsolo, Lenox, Studio 21, Marx, Epic, Spot 48, Factory12, Patrimonio and many more.
