Malibu (final)

This was the first song I was able to write after a long period of time thinking I wasn't good enough to be a successful independent artist. I realized that I wasn't making space for that success to enter my life. The longer I held onto the vices I had known to keep supporting me, the longer I stayed an older version of myself. If I wanted to evolved so did the tools I used to support myself. That meant quitting drugs & alcohol, and later leaving my abusive relationship and the false sense of security he gave me.
