It goes without saying the last year has been pretty phenomenal for drum and bass. We’ve seen many new names shoot into the spotlight, showing everyone just how capable they are at rubbing shoulders with the best. One of these is Bennie – an artist people can’t stop talking about right now. From landing on a major label, Universal Music, with his remix of Baby Queen’s “Colours Of You” last year, to his most recent bootleg of Delerium’s dance classic “Silence”, which Sigma helped turn into an official release on BeatsBassLife.

We’re stoked to say Bennie is back on Born On Road following his naughty chart smashing “Flexin” single with us last year, and this tune is just as capable of persuading your gun finger into action. “One Gun Finger” is the name, and it features none other than Dread MC. If that’s not a combination to get you excited when we’re not sure what is… Trust us, this one will be large in the dance.

LUYAH joins the Shack Records family for the next instalment with 'Calling Earth EP', which is composed of 3 different Drum & Bass bangers. The first is called 'Read Fi Dem', it has a jungly vibe to it and contains a rhythmic grooving bass line which locks in nicely with the drums. Next track is called 'Shake Em' and is a colab with Jaynie; this one is perfect for the dance floor thanks to its heavy bass and driving lead synth stabs. And the last track on the release is 'Calling Earth VIP', an instant classic with its memorable drop and top line - the original version was self-released on Bandcamp previously. This EP drops on the 30th June and will have a pre-order one week before on Beatport.
