Mertsanie is a project that explores dialogue as a constant manifestation of two polarities: provocation and support. Complementing each other, they create new, complex interweavings of what has been and what may arise.

Transmotion

This 30-minute ambient live set is the first sonic story from a series about encounters with water and its inhabitants. The sounds of the sea, waterfalls, mountain rivers, and frog croaks, recorded in different corners of Georgia, intertwine with synthesizers and bass — sometimes misty and enveloping, sometimes piercing. The music balances between melody and abstraction, creating an atmosphere where water cools, scares, sings, awakens, and engages in a dialogue with the surrounding world.

Чавкая носом в ту пору возник.

Волны кудрявые свежие стоны,
Молодо кланялись брови подняв.
Тронуты сжатыми плясками думы,
В глубь возбуждения с собою возвав.

Между шершавых, грохочущих, пьяных,
Крепких, сонорных, лелеющих, рьяных,
Руки сложа на груди, как пчела,
Смело зажег он свечу у костра.

Нравственно сосредоточены,
Удобными быть напрочь с точностью,
Искристостью бесконечно делиться,
Быть не ежом, а моржом или птицей.
Но тяжесть обремененности
Своими иллюзиями, тонкостями,
Гортанными звуками, колкостями
Стуками об ступу, прожигать через лупу.
Разомкнут будет этот круг,
Шагай вперёд, давай же друг.
