The void persists

Hope was a trap
 with teeth beneath.
 Faith was rot

 At our thoughts of denial.
We rise in pain,

Hallow hope.
Our Dreams betrayed.
Flesh is prison,
Made to suffocate.
Voided womb,
A wide fissure.
Time is lost
On the other side.
We decay.
We forget.

no debt.
Meaning melts
Beneath the sky.
